"Does that mean that I can go to Mermadia and come back alive?" Bennett asked.

"If you can survive without breathing under water until you get to Miami and come back" his father answered.

"That's not possible" Penny complained.

"It is, but you have to inhale a scent made from a squashed sea fruit, if you do that, then you can breathe under water for 24 hours" Nicky stated.

"Where do I get the sea fruit?" Bennett asked.

"You won't, I will go down to Oceania and get the fruit for you" Nicky offered.

I want to go too.

"Get for me too" I whined.

"No, you'll stay back" Bennett said.

"So I should sit back and wait while you risk your life for me, no way, I'm going with you" I insisted.

"You are the one risking your life for us, so we have to do anything to keep you safe" Bennett argued. Is this guy not listening to my heart, I know he knows why I want to go, He's just pretending not to know?

"What if Carlos comes here while you are away?" I asked.

"We will protect you, and besides Carlos can't come here" his father stated.

I shook my head negatively. I want to go with them, I want to know what the mermaid world looks like.

"I want to go" I whined.

"It's OK Bennett, let her go. So Nicky you know exactly where the Mirror Of Laffite is?" The alpha asked.

"Yes but I doubt if my aunt will let us into her kingdom" she grumbled.

"Why not, she's your aunt" Jeromy asked.

"She banned me from entering her kingdom the day I chose to go into the human world instead of ruling Oceania as the queen after my mother the queen died. She said I was selfish, so she disowned me and banned me from entering her own kingdom, and that's where the Mirror of Laffite is, I've seen it once a century ago" she explained.

"So you don't think she will let us in?" Bennett asked.

"She should, she has to, you are her family, I mean an African proverb said 'a sister's anger doesn't get to the bone', she must have forgotten by now" I persuaded her.

"Sophia is right, maybe you should try" a blonde lady said.

"OK, when are we going?" Nicky asked.

"Tomorrow morning after breakfast" the alpha announced.

"You guys should go to bed now; you need to rest" penny stated.

"Dad there's something else I need to know" Bennett said to his father.

"What is it son"

"When Carlos ate Sophia brother and father, why didn't his wolf die?" Bennett asked, they all twisted their brows in confusion, I bet they never thought of that as well.

"Wow. That's something none of us noticed" the alpha lamented. "You know what? I'll ask the wizard again, just go and rest" he added.

Bennett shrugged he turned to Nicky and I "come on, I'll take you back to your room"
