I bent towards Bennett and asked. "Why don't they like her?"

I heard someone call my name, I looked up, it was Bennett's mother. How does she know my name?

"You are welcome my dear, I'm sorry it happened this way but it's for your own good. By the way I'm pennytola but you can call me penny and feel free to ask me for anything OK?" Bennett's mum stated. I nodded, she turned to Nicky. "And you too Nicky" she added.

Nicky nodded quietly. Now I know why she was scared of him at the restaurant on our first hang out with Bennett, and why she almost fainted when she saw the wolf him at my house.

Bennett's mother stood up and fished out the food for us, that's surprising, don't they have servants, I mean, werewolves that are servants.

"We do have servants but I like to take care of my family by myself" Penny stated.

OK, I better be careful with what I say in my mind before I will mistakenly call them idiots and they will hear it and use me for breakfast.

"We heard it" they all chorused and we laughed.

"She's so funny" one of the men said amidst laughter.

"That's my mother's cousin Jeromy and the lady beside him is his twin sister Menu" Bennett whispered to me.

We all talked and laughed as we ate, Nicky also contributed and they ended up liking her, I mean who wouldn't.

After the meal, that was when the servants appeared, they cleared the table and served desert, during desert, the real discussion started.

"Son we've found something that can help us keep her alive while we extract her blood" the alpha started. I already know what he was talking about.

"Really, well spill it" Bennett urged him.

"I invited a wizard, something we've not done in ages, but it paid off. But it's also dangerous according to the wizard".
