Chapter 105

They kept quiet and started eating kids they are always scared when an adult get serious with them.

We all finished eating, me and Nicky cleared the table and carried the plates to the kitchen to wash.

Nicky switched on the faucet on the sink while I took a detergent from a drawer and poured it into the plates.

Nicky started washing the plates. I grabbed the sponge from her hand.

"Leave it, I will do it." I assured.

"No need I will do it just rinse it for me." She beamed as much as I didn't want her to do it for me I have no choice.

We finished washing the plates and she helped me arranged them back on the top shelf.

We walked outside the kitchen and saw Bennett and Carlos talking at one corner while the kids were playing games in their iPad. Lexy's voice was the loudest as he was playing the game so passionately while Azira and Sabina just stared at him. 

It's was evening, we all escorted Nicky and her kids out of the house.

"Mom, when are we going to do a sleepover in Sabina's house." Azira asked staring at me with puppy dog eyes as if she was asking me to agree.

"Very soon." Bennett answered when it comes to releasing the kids, Bennett was possessive.

We all walked back into the house, it was evening I put the kids on their bed and watch them as the sleep. I was about to leave the room when Azira called out to me.

"Mom." She said softly.

This kids don't know that their mom needs to rest too.

"What?" I asked raising a brow.

"Stay with me." She muttered. I sat next to her bed and she held my hand as she drifted to sleep.

When it comes to sleeping Lexy was the first. Azira however gets scared at night.

I stayed there with her, I didn't know when I fell asleep.

Suddenly I felt like I was moving, a pair of strong arms were carrying me. I smiled widely because I knew it was Bennett.

I opened my eyes slowly and stared at him, as he took me to our room.

He put me on the bed and removed my shoes. Bennett can be warm and considerate sometimes I am so lucky to be his wife.

He lay beside me on the bed and wrapped his hand around my waist. He placed a long kiss on my forehead.

"Sleep my dear wife you need some rest." He beamed.

I felt secured as I cuddled him on the bed and sleep on his chest.

The next day.

I woke up, I need to get the kids ready for school, I need to cook first.

I removed Bennett's hand from my waist and took my phone from the top drawer I looked at the time.

It was 6 pm I still have one hour till the school bus arrive.

I got up from the bed and packed my hair into a ponytail.
