Chapter 106

I walked into the bathroom and started brushing my teeth staring at myself in the mirror.

I finished brushing, I took water in my mouth and gobbled it, I poured it into the sink and walked out of the bathroom.

And headed straight to the kids room.

I walked into their room and opened the curtains. The morning sun is not up yet.

I started tapping Lexy.

I don't usually wake them up but today they are oversleeping.

Why is it that anytime a kid want to go to school that's when they will start sleeping.

I woke them continuously and Lexy got up. He stared at me

"Good morning Mom." He beamed with a toothy smile.

"Morning son, wake up your sister and go bathe." I declared walking out of the room.

"There is a big spider under your duvet!" Lexy exclaimed. I knew he wanted to wake his sister that way because she hated spider and got scared easily.

I walked to the kitchen and started cooking. I cook maraconi and cheese and also pumpkin soup. I was about to serve the food when Bennett back hugs me. He put his head on my shoulder.

"What are you cooking?" He inquired.

"It's a secret, it's not time to flirt the kids might see us." I whined.

"I don't care let them see." He replied.

I moved away from him.

"I can't believe that is coming from you, do you want to spoil the children?" I asked.

"Chill babe, I was just joking." He whined I know I was just pulling his leg.

He pulled him into a hug.

"Nice try you have successfully pulled it." He beamed.

Bennett can be funny at times.

"Go away, I am cooking." I scoffed.

"Are you literally calling me a distraction?" He asked curiously.

"Maybe." I mumbled he scrunched his brow and walked out of the room.

I've finished arranging the food and also dished out some food in their lunch boxes for them I walked out of the kitchen to go and check what the kids are up to and if they have finished wearing their uniform I walked into their room and saw that they were already putting on their uniform

"Good children." I remarked.

"Come and eat kids." I invited them I walked out of the room and they followed me Bennett joined us on the dining table We started eating when we were  about to finish eating we heard the sound of the school bus this is great let them, go to school I'm tired I got up from the dining table and walked to the kitchen to take their lunch boxes they both walked to me and I handed over to them their lunch boxes

"Be good children." I muttered

"We will mum." they replied.

Bennett smiled at me and took the children out of the house I collapsed on the couch and sighed life of a mother it's not easy.

Bennett walked back into the house

"I have to go home I have some business with Carlos."
