"How many do you want?"he asked and I stopped laughing.
"What do you mean?" I asked and Alex pushed my baby hair behind my ears.
"How many kids do you want?"he asked and my heart almost stopped. This is a conversation that I've never thought about.
"I don't really know. I've never thought about it. I'm going to wash these dirty dishes."I left because I didn't want to continue with this topic at all."uuumh, where's the kitchen?"I asked embarrassed.
",I thought you actually knew where the kitchen is since you are so ready to leave to change the topic but it's okay. Come let's go wash the dishes together then I'll give you a tour."he said and led the way chuckling. I rolled my eyes at how he was pretending to be great."can you stop rolling your eyes at me baby?"he said and I rolled some more. We reached the kitchen and we put the dishes in the dish washer. After we were done we dried the dishes together and I was so happy when Alex said how we look like a nice couple. To be honest, I really loved this. It was super cute and Alex looked like a great husband. I shook my head to get rid of the thoughts. We are just trying in this relationship and we are not sure if we aren't gonna end up marrying. Or are we? I leave that to destiny to decide.
", Baby , come I'll give you a tour of our house."he said and I raised my eyebrows at him.
"Our house?"I asked.
"Of course it's our house. Who else is living here except us baby."he said grinning and I shook my head and followed him. He took me to every corner of the house and I was surprised at how big the house was . It had three floors, five bedrooms and a library,an art room,a study room, I living room and I kitchen. It had a big balcony and the view was so great. You could watch the whole city in there.
"Woow Alex this place has a very great view."I said when we reached the balcony.
"It's even better at night. You're gonna love it at night."he said and I couldn't wait until the evening."come on let's go baby." He held my hand and we went downstairs. Just as we reached on the last stair we heard the door bell ring. I looked at Alex who released my hand and went to the door to open it. I went to the living room and took a remote and switched on the TV. I heard screams from the door and I quickly ran to see what was happening only to see this girl hugging Alex so intimately. What the fuck.
"Alex darling you gotta carry me. I've not seen you for too long and I'm so lucky to find you today. I was actually not sure if I'm gonna find you. I'm used to getting in but today something changed. The password changed. Why the hell would you do that. Don't you want me to live here anymore." The girl talked nonstop while leaning on Alex. How many girls do Alex have as his girlfriend. Now I'm about to deal with some other disaster. Today was a fucking cursed day.
"You're talking to much Melissa I didn't follow up." Alex told her and she pouted. Why is she so childish.
"Alex don't you love me anymore."she asked acting all cute and I rolled my eyes. What the hell is this girl doing? Seducing my boyfriend with that cute face of hers.
",Of course I love you. How could I not?"Alex said smiling at her warmly and lovingly and my heart started beating so fast it could miss a beat. Alex loves her? He doesn't even deny it. Jeeez,. Why the hell I'm I not thinking straight when around this guy. I'm supposed to see that there's no way he even likes me. He probably have too many women in his life to even love me. I turned around but I reached for the only thing I could get for support. Unfortunately I reached for a vase and it immediately fell down and it broke. I fell down too because I had nothing to support myself with. Immediately I heard Alex say those words I felt like I could not walk anymore. Like all my energy have been sipped from my body. He's really playing me and now I'm questioning his real intention towards me.
"Fuck!"I cursed out loud when I felt pain in my butt. I rubbed my butt trying to stand up because I really needed to get away from Alex. I can't believe he is playing me. First, the girl named valentine and now Selina or whatever her name is. What more other girls does he have?
"Baby, are you okay?" He asked and I ignored him as I tried to stand up but he came and held me up. I glared at him and yanked his hand away from me.
"I'm fine. Really fine and I need to go."I said to him and I set my foot to leave without looking at the girl Selina. Alex can have all the girls he wants. He held my wrist stopping me and I was about to talk when he beat me to it.
"You are hurt. You're bleeding in your palm."he said and I looked at my left palm. It was bleeding and it was now I felt so much that I winced involuntarily.
"Ooh my God!! that's much hell of blood. Alex you gotta act fast."the girl said and I didn't even mind to look at her.
"Melissa get the first aid kit right now." Alex told her. So her name is Melissa. She came back with a first aid kit and Alex immediately took it from her and took the cotton wool to clean the blood. He then took the alcohol and poured a little on a clean cottonwool.
"This is gonna hurt okay."he told me and I nodded then he rubbed the area with the alcohol. I winced in pain and he looked at me apologetically.
"I'm sorry. I have to do this okay. You can bite my shoulder if it's not easy to bear."he said and I rolled my eyes.
"Stop overreacting Alex."I said and he continued what he was doing and I winced trying all my best to look strong.
"It's all done."he said as he finished wrapping a medical band to help my wound so it could heal and to prevent it from getting infected. I thanked him but he just shrugged. I looked at Melissa, now I got her name right but when I saw her looking at me , I looked away.
"Meli be nice, she's my girlfriend." Alex told her smiling.
"How will I be nice if I don't even know her. You always pretend to be this douchebag sometimes but I love you bro."she said touching his cheeks but Alex slapped her hand away. Ooh so Alex is her brother? Please let it be Alex is her brother because I don't want to deal with some angry exgirlfriend but this girl seems nice.
"You know how much I hate introductions but for the sake of my girlfriend I'm gonna do it. Well as you can see she's Kimberly, my girlfriend and Kim this is my stupid sister Melissa."Alex said and I looked at Melissa sighed an inward relief. Now that I have a closer look at her, she do look similar to Alex except the nose but her eyes I mean everything else looks like Alex but she is shorter than Alex by a few inches but definitely taller than me. She was beautiful like so pretty.
"Nice to meet you Melissa."I said extending my hands for a handshake but she hugged me instead and I stiffened because I was caught off guard
"You are so beautiful. And nice to meet you too. Sorry for hugging you but I really wanted to do that since I saw you........"
"Meli that's my girlfriend hope we won't have problems around here."Alex interrupted and I laughed wondering how these siblings are like.
"Do you think I'm gonna snatch her away or something. You so unbelievable Alex and stupid."she rolled her eyes at him but he glared at her. Now this is awkward, standing there without knowing what to do other than watch these siblings bicker.
"She needs to rest silly. Can't you see that she's hurt. Go home you're not needed here." he told her.
"Sorry to burst your bubble but I aren't going anywhere. I just got here and I want to know more about my sister in law."she said and my heart stopped for a second. Did she just call me sister in law?
