Chapter 117- New discovery 2

Raina's POV.

"What?" Everyone said at once staring at Bas once again, he just shrugged and nodded.

"What do you mean by you might know them?" I asked Bas looking at him, my brows raised and he just shrugged.

"I don't mean, or I'm not just saying I might know them, let me rephrase it, I actually know them, if they stay in Vampire city as he said." Bas replied pointing to the tracker.

"You must have entered my mind again, when you promised you wouldn't." The tracker said eyeing Bas suspiciously.

Bas scoffed, "what?, I did not enter you mind, and also I didn't promise I won't, and finally, yes I know them." He said clearly Irritated.

"Well, how do you know them?" The tracker asked.

"I have good intuition for one." Bas replied sarcastically and we all rolled our eyes, we now acted like we were controlled by remotes when Bas behaved this way.

"That's not the answer." Bas's father said and Bas sighed rubbing his temples.

"Well, when he said they stay in Vampire City, it came to my head that, oh yes, I know them, because I'm acquainted with them.". Bas said.

"How are you acquainted with my parents?" I asked.

"Well, they are pretty popular there." bas replied.

"Wait, I'm not even asking an important question here, other supernatural creatures stay in Vampire City?, I thought it was just for vampires?" I asked.

"No in supernatural creatures, we're part of the highest heirachy, so we have a city, like some others do, and we relate with other supernaturals well, I mean those that follow the law of vampire city." Bas's replied.

"So they are lots of supernatural creatures there, from Vampires to werewolves, to druids, to changelings too, lots of them stay there, and we all abide by the laws there, though not really, power still rules at the end of the day." Bas said with a shrug.

"So let me ask my question now, " I paused and Bas smiled, "how did you know my parents?" I asked.

"Well, like I said earlier, they are pretty popular, and secondly, you have mother's hair colour and your father's eyes," Bas replied with a smile.

"He's right." The tracker said.

"But most importantly, you really look like your descendant, who was pretty powerful, most creatures say she actually is reborn and that's you , she's called Tatia, you look exactly like her." Bas said.

"It's true." The tracker repeated.

"How did you know that?" The tracker asked Bas immediately.

"Well for one, like I said if you didn't hear, I kinda know them personally." Bas replied.

"You know them too Father." Bas turned to his father who looked like he was trying to remember, "you also know them too," Bas turned to Matteo, Lyn and Gabriel.

"Yass, I do." Matteo said.

"Before coming here, I got a painting from her." Matteo said.

"And yes, you have your father's eyes." Matteo said with a smile.

I didn't even hear what he said next properly when Matteo talked about painting.

"She draws?" I asked tears welling up in my eyes again.

"Yes, you got that from her, she's vampire's city famous artist." Lyn replied and I kept staring at them, I was so excited I couldn't even talk, I was so damn happy.

"So can I see them?" I asked.

"Is it alright, if I see them?" I asked, I was practically vibrating right now, I didn't know if it was with happiness or with surprise, or whatever it was, I didn't really know, but I knew right now I was shaking, Bas pulled me in for a hug, and I held him tightly.

"So I believe I'm not needed again." The tracker said.

"I need to get healed, I've exerted my power discovering what was hidden." The tracker said.

"For helping us, and for finding something like this, I might help you with healing." Bas said.

"What?" We asked simultaneously, Bas father stared at him shaking his head, but Bas just smiled.

"He's loyal enough." Bas said and I knew that he must have read the tracker's mind.

"You've read my mind." The tracker said annoyingly and Bas smiled.

"Well, I just did," Bas replied, "you have a vivid mind though, and go apologize to that girl you hurt." Bas added and the tracker's widened.

"Leave my business." The tracker said sternly and Bas just shrugged.

Bas walked closer to him, putting his two hands at the tracker's back, I could feel the energy in the room, and everyone stared at Bas in shock, he held it closing his eyes in concentration, the tracker was now shaking, Bas kept closing his eyes in concentration, his hands left the tracker's back after ten minutes and the tracker turned staring at him with mouth agape, Bas's father pressed his lips into a tight smile, his friends and sister just blinked.

"No freaking way." The tracker said staring at Bas.

"Yes freaking way." Bas replied.

"You're really the one that was told in the prophecy." The tracker said and I blinked remembering what Bas said about the prophecy.

"Oh well, I don't know much about that." Bas said and sat down close to me holding me close and I leaned to him.

"I promise to serve you for life." The tracker said suddenly and everyone in the house laughed.

"Okay, okay, make sure you did that, you owe me, I'm tired." Bas said and the tracker nodded leaving the room.

"Wow, what a day, what a discovery!" Lyn exclaimed.

"Did you discover more abilities?" Bas's Father asked Bas.

"I've had lots of power and ability I've not told you about Dad, and a lot I've discovered lately." Bas replied.

"Wow, you should be careful, not lot of vamps should know this." Bas's father said.

"They are already guessing the prophecy, though a lot of them didn't pay attention, some did." Bas's father said, "they might try coming for you." Bas's father added.

"Tell that to grandfather who keep telling vamps in his council about my abilities." Bas said with a pout.

"What did I do?" I heard Bas's grandfather and I turned he walked into the room staring at us.

"Did I miss a gathering?" He asked.

"Nah, you didn't we are definitely alright." Bas said.

"I'm so tired, court business is so tiring." His grandfather sighed as he laid down slowly.

"Dad, your room is inside." Bas's father said and we smiled.

"Good evening sir." I said to Bas Grandfather and he turned to me with a smile.

"You can call me grandpa." He said and I beamed and he winked.

"Oh wow, amazing, today must he such a great day." Matteo said and we all laughed.

"Well, you need to rest, then we'll go meet them tomorrow, I can call them and tell them I'm bringing a visitor." Bas said with a smile.

I wanted him to call and also to not call, I was really surprised he knew them personally, but I actually really wanted to see them, so I nodded to Bas.

"So you really know them personally?" Matteo asked Bas and Bas nodded.

"I've crashed at their place about three times before." Bas said and his friends stared at him shaking his head.

"That's why she looked so freaking familiar, I didn't know it was someone I knew." Bas said and I smiled nervously.

He brought out his phone dialing a number, he put his phone on speaker for everyone to hear.

"Hello Bas, how are you doing?". I heard a male voice, and I smiled ,he even called Bas by the nickname only people close to him did.

"I would like to come to your place tomorrow and I'm bringing visitors." Bas said.

"Oh well, since when did you announce before coming?" He asked and Bas laughed.

"Well I had to tell you because I'll be bringing visitors." Bas said and the voice laughed.

"Honey,who are you talking to, you just came back, you need to rest." I heard a lady's voice and I stilled with teary eyes.

"Bas called." The male voice replied.

"Oh wow, it's been long I heard from him." The female voice said.

"Hello Bas." The female voice said.

"Hello, Mother." Bas replied.

"Wow, it's rare to hear you call me mother, I've asked that for a long time, if my daughter were still here, I'll make sure she marries you, my son doesn't like men, I would've made sure he did." She added and my heart beat faster, that she thought of me from time to time.

"Oh really." Bas Chuckled.

"Yes really." She replied, "I'm off, I need to make something for us to eat." She said.

"Though the visitors you're bringing are your friends, Matteo recently bought something from my wife." The male voice said.

"Oh, I can't tell you, but I'm definitely bringing visitors." Bas said.

"See you tomorrow Father.", Bas said.

"Today must be a good day, this is the second time you've called me father, once years ago, and now today." He said ending the call.

"Well, let's get you some rest." Bas said to me, taking me with him.
