Chapter 116- Her real Parents.

Raina's POV.

I didn't know why Bas called me but I rushed to see him, though he said he wanted to see me at their family's castle, I suspected it was something big, but I didn't know it would be this big, something so shocking that I didn't even know how to behave or react, all my life I never even knew or had the thought of such a happening, or even imagined something like this ever, I didn't know how to even feel or react, I could feel the tears welling up in my eyes, and my eyes was stinging so hard as I struggled to not give way to tears, but it was void, Bas wrapping his hands around mine, made the tears fall, I couldn't believe what I heard.

When Bas told me he wanted to see my dead parents grave and visit them as people normally did, even Vampires, I was so happy that he respected them and even thought of visiting them without me asking, and he wanted to do it as a surprise, but he found out something he didn't even expect to find that's why he called me here.

I released my hands from Bas's hands, I could still feel them shake, but I was still in shock about what I heard, hell I didn't even imagine that it would be such a shocking news.

I couldn't believe my life had be such a lie, it was such a farce, I didn't even know myself anymore right now.

I couldn't believe that the people I knew as my parents weren't my real parents, and I actually had real parents, my childhood was a lie, a total lie, it made so shocked, I blinked because I couldn't believe what he said, the memories I has as a kid were with the parents I knew, so how where they not my parents?, and how did I even get to leave my real parents?.

I kept asking myself these questions, it didn't even click to me yet, it made me feel suddenly cold, what if I was such a disappointment as a child?, Did they sell me away?, Why didn't they take care of me?, Was I actually abandoned?, Didn't I have any use in life?" I kept repeating this questions in my mind, I was visibly shaking right now, I wanted to let loose, but I reminded myself that I didn't seat alone, I blinked hard for a while and turned to the tracker staring at him, I didn't want to blame anyone, but I suddenly felt annoyed that Bas wanted to know this and this happened, I was grateful before, but I suddenly felt annoyed, not at him, but at myself for being such an unwanted person, I didn't even know I was a child that didn't even know her real parents, or a child that was left and abandoned by her parents that strangers could pick her up.

The thoughts kept coming, stupid ones, the ones that made me feel like I could kill myself, the ones that made me feel depressed and irritated right now, for the first time I wished the ground would swallow me genuinely and not just because I was embarsssed,but because I couldn't take the thought of living such a lie all my life, I couldn't even imagine the thought or even grasp it, but it happened and it actually happened.

When Bas finally asked what I couldn't even summon up the courage to ask, " who then are her real parents?" Bas asked, I could feel my hands shake uncontrollably, Bas held my hands again tightly this time, he shook his head.

"Well,I." The tracker stuttered staring at me.

"Just say it." Bas barked and the tracker nodded.

"Her parents are close, though they don't believe she's alive." The tracker said and I scoffed.

"Wow, so I have parents who don't even know of my existence." I said bitterly and Bas gripped my hands and brought me closer to him, I clutched him, clinging to him, he was all I had left and I couldn't handle it if he wasn't real, like I found out my parents weren't real.

I gasped when Matteo gripped my hands and Gabriel rubbed my hands through Matteo's hands, Lyn smiled at me reassuringly, the tears that welled up my eyes fell at once, I couldn't believe that I got this immense support.

That they supported me and weren't disgusted when they heard about my past, that I could have actually been an unwanted child.

"What do you mean by they are close, but they don't believe she's alive?" Lyn asked.

"And you need to tell us what we really want to know, don't speak in circles please." Matteo said.

"Oh well, they are alive and well, and they keep looking for you, but the spell they placed so that your powers could be hidden and couldn't be found by them or those looking for you then is really strong that they can't break it." The tracker said and I blinked twice, powers and spell, what they hell was going on?, I have or have powers?" I didn't even understand again.

"Powers?, She has powers?" Lyn asked mouth agape, I was as surprised as she was, so surprised that I couldn't even ask questions, the questions in my mind were asked for me.

"Yeah, she does." Bas said and we all turned to him shocked etched on our faces, the tracker was also shocked.

"How did you know that?" Gabriel asked.

"Did you slide into my mind again, I thought you said you won't do it again." The tracker said a little Irritated.

"I just guessed that, I'm close to her and I sensed it, even on our first meeting, and I was shocked she was human, but I waved it off because I found out we were mates, so I kinda thought it was part of our connection thingy." Bas said and I blinked, he just shrugged.

"He can sense powers." Bas's father said with a small smile.

"Your son does have lots of abilities." The tracker said and Bas's father chuckled nervously.

"No he doesn't." He said sternly with a smile.

"I don't know about that ability of his." Matteo, Gabriel and Lyn said immediately.

"Well, I kinda told Dad recently, I have always had it though." Bas said.

"And this is not about me, it's about My mate, so let's find out what we wanted to find out in the first place." Bas said and we all turned back to the tracker.

"So let me get this straight, they put a spell to hide me, and also to not find me, And also whatever they hid me from to not find me, and also I have powers?" I asked, I collected myself a little, I was still in shock but at least I could now ask questions, I felt a little relieved to know my real parents were protecting me and I wasn't abandoned.

"So why exactly was I protected, and what exactly am I to have powers?" I asked.

"You're a druid, your parents are druids." The tracker said and everyone turned to me blinking at me in shock, I just shook my head wondering what a druid was, but it was obviously a supernatural creature.

"What's a druid?" I asked blinking at the Tracker who smiled at me, it was weird but right now, I didn't want to think about why he was smiling, he may mean no harm.

"Wow, you're fascinating." Matteo said.

"I'll ask again, what's a druid?" I said and they all laughed, I glared at them and they chuckled, giggling like elementary school kids who got their favourite candy as a gift, Bas's father was even smiling.

"Well it's a supernatural creature, they have powers too, you know they are many supernatural creatures," Lyn said and I nodded, "well a druid is one of them, you love doing research, you can do that later." She winked at me.

"Is it something evil?" I asked and they laughed and I suddenly sulked, but I felt relieved that they were laughing, so it meant that it wasn't something bad, it made me feel relieved, I thought I was something that would be harmful to others, I suddenly smiled and laughed along foolishly with them, though I didn't know much now.

"So why where they hiding me?" I asked.

"Well, there was an obsessive and powerful witch when you were born, who kept hunting children that were druids, and your parents hid you till you were five, they couldn't hide you anymore, because just like them, you loved drawing like your mother, and you loved research and exploring like your father, so you always went out unknowingly when they hid you, and the obsessive witch found you, she almost hurt you, but you defeated her with your powers, so she thought of taking your powers for herself, that's when your parents called a sage who had powers and they made your human parents find you." The tracker said and I blinked.

"Where are my parents?" I asked.

"They stay in Vampire City." The tracker said and I understood why he said they were close.

"Wait if they stay in Vampire City, then I might know them." Bas said and I turned looking at him in shock.
