Chapter Fifty One; who is Raymond with?

She sobbed into his arm for some time before he noticed her calm.

He got her head off his shoulders as he found her face.

"Hey, hey."

He said in almost a whisper as he used his both hands to hold her cheek, wiping her tears.

Her eyes were red and sad and that hurt him.

He drew her closer again and gave her yet another warming hug.

She had told him everything that went down during their dinner. He didn't know Beatrice's mom would be there. She was out of town according to Beatrice. She must have returned for her daughter's wedding dress shopping.

He hated not being there with her. For her! She wouldn't say that if he was there.

Mrs. Harvey was a very pokey person, she was a mean old lady and she sure knew Amanda was an easy target.

Amanda was settled now, he ordered a bucket of chocolate ice cream as he knew that would help. She was sitting in the movie room and he went to get a bottle of whiskey just at the bar.

Amanda insisted on pouring a bit of whiskey into the big bowl of ice cream so they would scoop both the ice cream and the whisky while they saw a movie together.

Amanda was soon intoxicated with their little experiment. She had fallen asleep right on his arm. She was beautiful while asleep. In fact, she was angelic.

She didn't get to finish their movie and maybe he won't too, because he had become sleepy too.

The rest of the days before the wedding had gone by without any issues between Amanda and Raymond. Work went on great without any hiccups as they worked on finalizing the Timeless deal.

It was two days before the wedding, she and Raymond had gone to pick up her bridesmaid dress. It was pretty late and she was super tired as it was after they had closed from work, so she didn't fit the dress there.

The next day, she tried on the dress at home while she was alone and it was beautiful. Ray later picked her up and they went for the rehearsal dinner.

They arrived at the small hall which wasn't the main event space but was in the same venue.

It was a mini hall with high decors. There were round tables, decorated with flowers and ribbons. This was what an average wedding setting mostly looked like, but this was just for rehearsal???!

She and Raymond said hello to a few people. Raymond took her to the table where Flora was and she sat with her.

Raymond had left her side, now somewhere by the corner discussing with the groom-to-be.

Amanda was actually seeing him for the first time in person. Paul Thompson was a popular face in the country. He was a TV host who had a show of his own called The Everyday Show, which he apparently started when he was sixteen. The show had recently celebrated its fifteen years of being on air and that sure was a big deal.

"You know so many celebrities are gonna be attending," Flora said. Flora didn't really sound excited, she just wanted to let her know how much influence he had on the entertainment world.

It's just a typical rich people wedding Amanda thought. While the Harvey's might have influenced the economical and commercial aspects of the country, Paul Thompson influenced the entertainment aspect.

"Perfect match" Amanda mumbled under her breath.

"Huh?" Flora let out as she was trying to get what Amanda had said.

"They're perfect for each" Amanda said.

"Oh, yea," Flora added.

They practiced and made sure everything was perfect. Food was served, they drank and as for her, she was intoxicated that night and she didn't actually know how they got back.

The wedding was on a Saturday, Ray left the house before she actually woke up. He later called that he had to go help Paul, the groom out with a few things.

She spoke with Lang as they decided to meet up with each other at the venue. Lang was officially invited as she had met Beatrice a few times around Blazzer.

She wasn't dressed because she planned on getting to the bride on time so she would dress alongside the other bridesmaids.

Back at the ladies' room in the hotel, she met a lot of high class people. People of influence. 'This is definitely the wedding of the year." She mumbled to her self.

The bridesmaid was eight so far, though they kept multiplying with time.

They were ready to officially open the event. They walked her into the large hall that was filled with so many people.  She wasn't shy while she walked out because it was only Raymond that had the power to make her fold.

The venue was highly decorated. Peach colored ribbons were made into a really attractive piece. The balloons and flowers were different colors but mostly peach. The bridesmaid dresses were peach too, so she saw what they were trying to do. This hall was beautiful! They managed to turn this event hall into a mini heaven and she loved it.

She was still walking down the very long aisle when she sighted Raymond. He was in a dark wine red Tuxedo. He sat at a round table with Fiona's husband. He wore a smile looking in her direction as his gaze followed her. He was charming!

She smiled back at him and soon concentrated on getting to her destination and she wouldn't want to miss any steps.

The event was going great. Everything was going as planned though the numerous celebs that came caused a little crowd of paparazzi and fans outside.

They also had a red carpet where they briefly took pictures.

The vows had been made, so the hardest part of a wedding had passed. She never wedded but she guessed that would be the hardest part of a wedding, even for herself.

The speech was given by Paul's best friend and he delivered a heart wrenching speech which got quite a number of people teary.

It was now the eased part of the wedding remaining. She was seated at one of the round tables, sipping her fruit punch. People were now up and about exchanging pleasantries with people they knew. This included Raymond who she saw with a different group of people every five minutes.

Well, she didn't know more than ten people there and those ten people were also busy with other people.

Lang!

"Where was she?"

She reached for the very mini purse hanging on her shoulders throughout the wedding. She found her phone as she saw several missed calls and most were from Lang and Ray.

She called Ray first, she could see him, he was standing with one of the country's top singer. Maria, who looked elegant in her blond hair.

Ray answered the call as he noticed him excusing himself from the lady.

"Where are you?" He asked.

"I am on one of the tables here," she answered.

She noticed Ray looking back, trying to find her. She waved her hands in the air as he eventually found her.

"Okay, seat right there, I will be with you in a few minutes."

"Okay Papi" Amanda answered as she tried to tease him with the last word.

She saw his face brighten, he now wore a smile and so did she.

"You trying to get yourself, bent in a corner. Aren't you?" He asked still with a smile as he seductively looked in her direction.

She bit the lower part of her lips in a way that simply answered yes to his question.

"I won't go easy on you, Amanda." He said in a cold seductive tone which left her wanting whatever he wanted to do to her right there.

Ray was beyond charming and seductive without even trying. The lower part of her abdomen was beginning to act funky. It was ready for what Raymond was plotting.

"I don't like easy." She responded as Raymond smirked before speaking.

"In ten minutes." He said before immediately ending the call.

She sat there totally lost in her sinful thought before hearing a familiar voice.

"Hey, you!" It was lang, she walked up to her.

"You look beautiful," Amanda said to Lang as Lang's smile widened.

"You sitting there looking like  full course meal, talking about 'i look beautiful?' " Lang said as Amanda let out a laughter.

Lang had convinced her to come with her so they would go take a picture with the actress in the latest wonder woman movie.

They did and they met the beautiful Bella Wentworth. Beautiful polite and very welcoming.

Amanda had left Lang alone to find more fun people to interact with while she went back into the main hall to locate Ray.

She had taken more than ten minutes, it had been Forty minutes since she spoke to Ray last.

She got back to where she had last seen him and he wasn't there. She reached for her phone. She had one missed call from Ray so she guessed he had tried looking for her too.

She called back, but he didn't answer. She was lucky to run into Flora who informed her that she saw him by the outside mini garden.

She went that direction. She had not been in the garden before. It was a beautiful space.

The place wasn't very empty, she saw a few people there, mostly in pairs. She had sighted Raymond, and he wasn't alone. Raymond and whoever it was stood facing each other. The lady had her hands on his suit, all touchy. She was faced with their side view, but she didn't know who the other person was, yet!

She moved closer to them as the lady he was standing with was becoming clearer to her.

It was Rebecca!

Yes, Rebecca!
