CHAPTER 70

When Dylan thought about what sex would be like between them now that they were grown up, she had been afraid at first. Not because she didn't know how to go about it because yeah, she had slept with several people over the years and gotten to experience what it was like as an adult. She was afraid because this felt different, this wasn't just any woman she was having sex with. It wasn't just an affair either. This woman was the love of her life. The woman she had waited for all those years even though she at times didn't want to admit it. She needed this to be perfect. This reunion felt almost like the first time they had sex as teenagers. It had to be perfect because it would always be what they remember most from their reunion. Well, one of the most important things. She took her time slowly, administering slow kisses along Carly's beautifully curved body. The response was exhilarating. Their teenage connection was still there, just more advanced, more experienced and even more sure. The softness and how her breasts filled her mouth was heavenly. She wanted to remain there forever but there were other regions of Carly's body that needed attention. She left the the two gorgeous mounds and made her way downwards making a clean slow path along her bare chest and stomach. It was as if she needed each kiss to register in her body and settle in before she took the next. When she finally got to her waist, she paused. The trouser was getting in the way. Why hadn't they thought of taking it off earlier before all this. Almost as if Carly was reading her thoughts, she opened the jeans zipper and pulled it down. At this point, Dylan's heart was pounding like a jack hammer. There was one thing they hadn't talked about. And that was the fact that Carly had slept with a man. That shouldn't have an issue because truly Dylan didn't judge her for it. She actually loved her for who she was. What was on her mind in that minute and it absolutely was unnecessary was her fear that maybe Carly wouldn't be into this anymore. 'What the hell Dylan?' How could she even think that. Clearly Carly was enjoying her touches. There was no way she wasn't going to enjoy the whole thing. She should have remembered that the touch of a first love is never forgotten. And then it clicked. She didn't have to think, she just had to act and let the pieces fall into each other on their own. This wasn't about their past,it was about what they felt at that moment, right there. She looked at Carly and found her looking at her in question. Did she even have to be told that this woman loved her? No.

"I want to make love to you," she said in a husky voice.

"I have been waiting for that all my life."

She smiled, "Good, because for all the time we have been apart, we are getting that back from this moment."

                 "Bring it on."

                  ★★★

Carly hadn't expected it to happen that fast but the moment Dylan went down on her and sucked her clit into her mouth. It was all over. She didn't even have to stroke her for long before she got to the edge. Climaxing and shaking uncontrollably in bed wasn't something she could remember happening to her in any time near that day. Dylan drove her right home, right to the place she had only dreamt of love the last couple of months. More than two years to be more accurate. She pulled Dylan towards her with the little strength she had left and kissed her fiercely, claiming her. She kissed her mouth clean, the smell of her own juices lingering on her lips. She couldn't remember the last time she had felt this good.

"I love you so much," she said in between kisses. "I'm never leaving you again." These weren't her hormones talking and to make sure Dylan understood that, she pulled her face in front of hers to look her in the eyes. "Not now,not ever. That is a promise I make to you and seal it in my heart."

She was surprised to see Dylan's face change with emotion, her blue eyes turn to a lighter shade. It took her a moment to realize that it was tears and the moment she did, they were already falling out of her eyes. It hurt her to see like that. She had cried so much, she needed a piece of pure happiness if not the whole portion.

"Never?" Dylan asked in a low voice. Right then she saw her vulnerability.

"Never," she repeated firmly and she meant it. This was right where she belonged. Whatever challenge that would face them in future, she made a vow to herself, running away again wouldn't be an option. She needed to make everything right between them and it would start right here in this room by loving her the way she had been loved. She wiped away the tears with her hands and cupped her cheeks. "I want to make love to you too,can I do that?"

Dylan nodded sure of her answer. Well, speaking honestly she had always been sure of what she wanted. She had always made it clear.

"Yes,as long as you are sure."

"I am very sure. This is what I want."

She started by removing her shirt. The wound above the chest where she had been shot a while back was healing gradually. She run her fingers on it and Dylan winced only a little. She kissed her slowly and evenly making sure each kiss counted, each was felt deep inside. Basically just the way Dylan had. She was determined make sure her lover felt almost the same way she had. She hadn't been in that field in a very long time but she believed in herself and as long as there were feelings and emotions involved, especially between lovers, this wouldn't be too hard. She just had to let herself go,let her feelings and Dylan's emotions lead her. And that was exactly what she did,she loved her. For the next hour or so,it was just them. No interruption. Taking turns in love making, cuddling, sharing their feelings and emotions and making love some more.
