Lanre and Ify are roommates and students of the prestigious University of Nigeria Nsukka, Enugu state. While Lanre is a beautiful light skin girl from the city of Ibadan, Ify whose full name is Ifeoma is dark skinned from the coal city, Enugu and both are undergraduates studying Mass communication and are in their final year. 
Unlike Ify, Lanre is the wild type who has her eyes for extremely flashy things, so when a guy approached her and asked her to marry her, she thought he wanted to hinder her from leaving life to the fullest until she realised he was the governor's son and wanted him for herself. But he was already engaged to Ify. What price is Lanre willing to pay to marry the "Governor's Son"?

The Governor's Son Is Mine

“Why do you even care? Well, I’m at my work place. Bring Eno”. Lanre said. She had barely said the last part when opened the car door and asked Ify to get out of the car. He pulled her out and drove off. All his focus was on getting to Lanre’s shop. He did not care whether or not Ify was stranded. She was the one he had gone to look for initially in the morning. But it turns out she has refused to stop being his enemy.

When K got to Lanre’s shop, he rushed in. He found his way to Lanre’s office and barged in on her. He rushed to her side and pulled her up from the chair. He looked her up every where. He kept looking at Lanre as if he was on an inspection.

K hugged Lanre. All these while, Christian seem invisible to K as he never acknowledged Christian who was seated right across from Lanre. Lanre broke out from the hug. She asked K if he did not bring Eno with him. He told her there was no need bringing Eno along when he was coming to get her.

“I am not going anywhere with you K. Bring Eno to me. And you could as well forget you ever know me”. Lanre said to K. He pulled her by the hand. Christian held K’s other hand. He asked K to leave Lanre alone.

“Why? You want to steal both my woman and my child away from me? You should go make yourself useful to your dad”. K said to Christian. Christian warned K that he was about to fight a battle he can’t win as Lanre’s workers would readily fight him if they see him dragging Lanre away. K told Christian he did not care. He told Christian he was willing to take a thousand blow for Lanre.

“And you think I will not watch with pride when you get beaten to pulp?” Lanre asked showing off some arrogance. K told her it would be because she knows she would be the one to take care of him after that. Lanre shook her head. She tried to free her hand from his. He pulled her close and right in front of Christian, K kissed Lanre. He made sure she was not able to free herself from the kiss until he was ready to let her go.

Lanre looked at K in a daze. He took her hand and led her out of the beauty parlour. Lanre followed him as though she has been charmed. She only realised what she was doing when they got outside and K had opened the door for her to enter his car. She pulled her hand away from him forcefully.

“What the hell!? Leave me alone”. Lanre said. Even Christian had not Stopped K from leading her out of the place. But then, it did not seem like K was forcing her to leave with him. Properly why Christian did not stop them.
