Faith stretched in bed, her head was pounding and she had to place her palm on her forehead as if to soothe the pounding. Her nosed twitched as she perceived a foreign scent. It was all familiar to her. She yawned and remembered who had the scent. Ethan. Her eyes flared open. She hope he was not in bed with her, she tried to turned slowly to see if he was lying beside her and that was when she realized that she was naked, but she heaved a sigh of relief when she didn't see him there.
She sat up in bed, still holding her pounding head. Her eyes popped out when she saw his vest beside her, on the pillow. She picked it up and glared at it. What was his vest doing on her bed? Her eyes ran about in her their socket as she started thinking fast.
Slowly, one by one, the events of the previous night came back to her. It had started out how it usually starts. She had thought of Noah and had taken her diary and had read, thought of her father, mother and brother, she had written in her diary, had played Noah's favourite song, had cried, had slugged down God knows how many shots of alcohol. He had been there. Yes, he had come to the kitchen, he had taken the bottle of drink from her and had thrown it in the sink, she remembered he had carried her over his shoulder and had taken her to the room.
He had laid her on the bed and she— she stopped her thinking for a while. Was it she that grabbed him or had he been the one that had grabbed her? She remembered vividly she was the one that had grabbed and kissed him. She remembered. Did they do it?! She screamed a loud scream and raised the bed sheet up to check her undies, still screaming.
Ethan jumped out of bed. Her scream had pierced his dream. He scrambled up from bed and ran out of his room. The scream seemed to be coming from different parts of the house. He finally, followed the voice to her room. He opened her door.
She quickly drew the bedsheets to her chest and held out her hand.
"Get out! Get out!"
Ethan was confused, she was holding his vest in one hand while the other hand clutched the bed sheet to her chest, her eyes looked like they were about to fall from the socket. He didn't know what to do. He quickly stepped back and left the room. Standing by the door looking at the door in surprise.
It was a relief that he didn't follow his libido last night. His face burned with embarrassment. He slowly went to the kitchen to make himself breakfast. His phone rang and he looked at the phone and it was Jennifer. He had forgotten about her since morning. He slid to the green icon and they talked, he had to apologize for going ghost mode on her last night. She wanted to know he was alright and he assured her he was okay and they set up a date.
