AT THE COFFEE SHOP

He watched her until she started shifting uncomfortably, an indication that she was about to leave. She glanced up and looked around, Ethan quickly faced his phone. When she started packing her stuffs, he quickly rose up and went straight to the door, he was going to bump into her and boom, it would all begin.

She finished packing her things and hurried away from the table, grabbing her coffee mug. Once she opened the glass door, Ethan came in feigning ignorance, he bumped into the girl as he had already strategized. Her mug fell from her hand and her coffee spilled.

"Oh my, God, I'm so sorry," he said and bent to pick up her mug and other things that has fallen from her.

She just stared at him with a mixture of helplessness and annoyance. He straightened up and stared confidently in her eyes.

"It's there anything I can do to make up for this?"

She smiled. "That was actually the only thing I would have had this morning?"

Her smile was striking and she had big natural dimples.

"Alright, let's go get them back again. I'm Ethan by the way," He brought out his hand for a shake.

"Jennifer," she said and took his hand.

"What a beautiful name for a beautiful lady."

She smiled shyly and looked down on her feet. He motioned for them to go inside the room. She shook her head before talking.

"I'm actually late for class, so I'll need to go. Maybe some other time."

"Are you sure?" He took out his card and gave her. She took it with a smile. "I feel guilty you're going to stave to class."

        "Don't worry, it's fine."

He went inside, feeling defeated, maybe she knew what he did. But when he sat down back, she came inside and walked straight to him.

"So, I was thinking, what if I ditch that class to get my breakfast back?"

He smiled. "You definitely won't regret it."

"Are you sure about that?" she asked and sat down beside him.

He shrugged. "You see for yourself." They both chuckled. He ordered her another coffee and sandwiches, they talked about other things and laughed like they had been old buddies.

The door opened and Ethan caught the people that entered at the corner of his eyes. He turned and saw his roommate Faith and their eyes met. She wore a blue linen skirt and a white t-shirt with her cardigan tied over her shoulder, her hair which was packed in a ponytail, had loose strands flying about. She quickly removed her eyes from him and focused on her couple friends.

Ethan removed his own eyes and focused on the beautiful damsel that was in his front, dazzling him with her grace. But the corners of his eyes still watched Faith.

Faith, Danny and Nora took a seat adjacent him. Faith took a quick glance his way and saw that he was completely smitten by the young girl in front of him.

Gosh! He should stop smiling so broadly it's so obvious. She rolled her eyes when they giggled a bit loudly, drawing attention to themselves.
