AT THE COFFEE SHOP

Nora glanced over at their table and turned back to Faith looking alarmed. "Is that not your roommate?"

Faith had to roll her eyes again. "I don't care," she said.

"Of course you care! Faith, is he with another girl?"

Faith glared at her. "What's your business if he is with another girl?"

Danny snickered. "Nora could be boisterous."

Nora glared at Danny. "Honey, you too?"

Faith waved at the waiteress to come over, she came over and they placed their orders. Faith could hardly keep her eyes and her concentration away from Ethan and the beautiful school girl who was sitting adjacent them.

"So, Faith, since you're setting up your office soon, when do Danny and I come for marriage counselling?" Nora asked bringing her back to them.

"Are you guys having issues already?" Her eyes were round.

"No! Why wait till we have issues before tellings us what to do?"

"Well, you will have to go study each other first before I tell you what you can do to stay together."

"Haven't we studied each other enough for the past four years?"

Faith hunched and sipped her coffee. "Then you pay for the sessions. I just want an assistant. I'll honestly miss Shelby."

"She is good but you would find a better assistant here. There are a lot of good people in LA."

"Don't you think you're kind of overrating LA?"

Nora glared at her for a little moment. "How could you say LA is overrated?"

"LA is a place to forget Noah, LA this, LA that, but I came to LA, the first thing I get is a shitty, con artist of a landlord who took rent from two different people and ran away, I mean who does that?"

"Your landlord," Nora replied. They all chuckled. "No, seriously, this place is cool, you know why you don't feel the impact, because you're a boring person."

Faith stared at her, alarmed. "Did you just call me boring?"

Nora nodded and sipped her coffee. Danny looked at her.

"Honey, isn't that a little bit harsh?" Danny asked.

"That's why I'm her friend, Danny to tell her the truth. Who prefers to take alcohol and die instead of going out with friends? Listen, this life has no duplicates. I am a nurse and I am supposed to be prim and proper but I live my best life, I try to enjoy life as much as I can. "

Faith rolled her eyes. "What has that got to do with anything? By the way, I don't really have your time this morning," Faith waved her off and leaned closer to the couple. "I'm planning to write a book on relationship."

The couple exchanged glances, Nora sip her coffee, shrugged and made to talk, but Faith stretched out her hand indicating she stops.

"I don't need your opinion." She turned to Danny. "What do you think Danny?"

Danny sipped and smiled. "I think that's a great idea."

"Is that your honest opinion, honey?" Nora asked.

Faith shot her a deadly look. "Do you think otherwise?"

Nora placed her cup on the table and stared into Faith's hazel eyes. "You're always scared of the truth. I think you're gonna make a good writer, bestsellers actually. Do you know that you're a renowned therapist?"

Faith smiled shyly and looked down. "Why were you making it seem like you had something bad to say?"

From the corners of her eyes, she saw Ethan raising from the table with the girl that had come with him.
