Chapter 115

The next sitting, Kelly had with Olivia and Mira saw yh continuation other story, as at this time, Kelly seemed to be achieving the essence of his visit, gradually he could see the effect of the story on Olivia, which he believed would get to the level where he would be able to open up what he assumed a bad news. What he was to discover later, which would possibly be a shocker to him was that Olivia and Mira had decided to enjoy the story while it lasted, this being that they had discussed on the entire happenings since the time Kelly left to the present day, and came to the conclusion that there was no remedy to the fact Olivia had move on. Their moral upbringing had a huge role to play in this, their father was and remained an advocate of good moral behavior no matter what situation they might find themselves. This had contributed immensely to their decision on Kelly, even as the story continued;

Kelly joined Pauline in her car, though she wanted her to drive, but Kelly refused. She didn't want any argument, so she drove. They go to the eatery down the road, not too far from their office where they ordered two plates of Spaghetti with boiled eggs. There were also drinks to water it down. They didn't discuss much while they ate, it was after they had finished eating, that Kelly initiated the conversation. 

Do you have a boyfriend some guy you are dating? He asked.

Pauline couldn't understand why the question, she wasn't expecting such from Kelly, even though she doesn't take such questions lightly, she didn't see this one from that let down or insult perspective. It took her time to analyse and digest the question before finding a suitable answer to give. She had to ponder over it to understand if any, the rational behind the question. What would have prompted Kelly to ask her such question with such boldness, she thought. She knew in her heart that she always have this complex problem whenever she was with Kelly, as his charisma and physical outlook was always intimidating. The only solution she was able to gather in order to match him, was to use her position against him. 

I do have one, she responded.

Really, so where is he? Kelly asked.

Kelly was so happy when she said she had a boyfriend, it was a prayer answered as far as he was concerned. This was going to make it easy for him to free himself from her entanglement, all he needed to do was to play an advisory role so as to get her focused on the said man. 

He is in town. Pauline responded. 

This time she was all smiles, she could sense the change of facial expression on Kelly, his growing face had changed, he was looking more relaxed, she could even see that he had started drinking the wine in his cup, which he barely touched as at the time it was poured into the glass. 

Are you in touch with him always, I mean do you really have time for him, cos I can see you are always almost alone? Kelly asked again.

Kelly wanted to be sure of whatever relationship she was into, this would enable him know the best advisory approach he would adopt. 

Yes we see almost every other day, and we are always in touch with each other. She responded.

Kelly thought for a moment to remember the times he wasn't around her or when she wasn't in the office or in her apartment, so as to know if that was the time she was always with the said young man. Meanwhile Pauline was enjoying herself with the mind game she was playing on Kelly. When she noticed that Kelly wasn't coming up with the next question, she decided to take the lead;

Would you like to meet him? She asked.

She made sure her eyes were focused on him, to be sure his answer were not faked, this she would know by simple psychology. She only needed to study his body language vis a vis his answer.

Not really, but if the opportunity calls for that, I wouldn't mind, Kelly cleverly answered.

He was being careful not to give her the impression that the news was a good and happy one for him. All he needed was to get the most information he could about the said young man and do his underground job of meeting him somewhere secluded. There he would use all his God given wisdom and knowledge at his disposal to encourage if not convince him to "make hare while the sun shines." 

Pauline smiled at his answer, she wasn't ready to stop the game yet, in fact she was ready to allow it drag to God knows when. She had the feeling that the fun wouldn't be completed without the part or time when Kelly would discover who the said guy she was presenting was. All the while, she couldn't help but admire him the more, the innocence of his heart was showing all over him, his handsomeness filled the room, some ladies who sat not too far from their table were already talking about them. Kelly had become used to such, it wasn't the first time he had overheard or noticed himself and Pauline become some people's topic. Pauline didn't waste more time to respond to him.

You will meet him very soon, I promise. She said with such a joyful smile.

Olivia interrupted Kelly, she told him, he was such a patient man, having faced this kind of a lady without loosing his mind. She told him that his kind was rare in their generation. Any other man would have told her to go to hell, even it meant losing the job. After all he had the qualifications that would get him some other job, if not something better. When she was through, Mira told Kelly she could understand a little bit of what must have been going on in his mind, having been in love with her sister, also being a nice gentleman, who wouldn't want to hurt a woman. 

Kelly couldn't help but laughed at Miras analysis of whom he was, he was surprised at the level at which she got correctly few of the reasons he took all that Pauline did with a pinch of salt. He was about to respond to them, but Olivia interrupted him again, she told him not to stop the story, adding that it wouldn't be a bad idea to have it directed as a movie in Hollywood. The three of them laughed, with Kelly promising he would definitely finish the story, but not that day any more, he told them he had something to take care of. With that, they dispersed.

In the US, Mike left Margaret's house, back to his hotel. He excuse himself from Margaret and the Mayor, after few minutes of the mayor's arrival. Margaret made sure she introduced him to the mayor, both men shook hands and we're pleased to have met. They drank some wine before he left, having noticed that they had a business to discuss. Margaret's personal driver was asked to take him back. While in the car, Mike had a long thought of what and how he would handle Cindy, but he wasn't able to arrive at any idea. He decided to let it be as he would sleep over it that night. When he finally arrived the hotel, he got down from the car and was walking towards his room when the idea crossed his mind. He decided to stop at Cindy's room and give her attention for a while. This he was sure would make her happy thereby covering up for the day(s) he wouldn't be around. When he got to Cindy's door, knocked and she opened the door, he wasn't surprised the way she jumped on him, kissing him not minding that the door wasn't shut yet. Mike had to shut the door by kicking it, by then all Cindy was clamouring for was the kiss which it seemed she never wanted to stop. Mike had already made up his mind to give her whatever would make her happy enough to accept whatever story that would serve as excuse for his absence in days to come, so he obliged her and made sure the kissing got more intimate. When Mike noticed that Cindy was not ready to let go, he lifted her up from his body, and lay her on the bed, there and then, he pulled off his shirt, revealing his broad chest in a sparkling white singlet. Simultaneously, both of them got out of the clothes they wore and looked at each other's amazing look. Mike was already aroused and the evidence was conspicuous between his legs, he had no time to waste, their bodies were already on fire, so they avoided all preambles and jumped into the main business with a lot of sighs and accompanied moaning. It wasnt long when both lay down on the bed exhausted after an erotic sexual adventure.
