Everyone was already sitted in the dinning room except Simon of course. Paige walked in on the curious eyes starring at her as she opened the door to the dining hall. Mrs Kentley was sitted with two other ladies. The dining room was luxuriously furnished just like every other part of the house. "Oh, sweetheart. How are you? You must be exhausted from your trip." Mrs Emily Kentley stood up and led Paige to a seat as a sign of welcome.
"Meet my daughters." She announced. "Anna the eldest and June the youngest. We all came back for June's wedding which will be taking place soon. But two weeks from now, we'll be hosting an engagement party to announce her engagement." She said excitedly and signaled one if the maids to serve Paige's food.
"Tadaaa," June exclaimed flaunting her ring.
"It's so beautiful." Paige complimented and honestly, the ring was indeed gorgeous.
"Thank you so much. It's so nice meeting you Paige. You look so beautiful in person than those hideous Instagram pictures we saw. Don't you ever consider updating your pictures or at least deleting those ones entirely. It's better to have a blank profile than those pictures we saw." June, the youngest Kentley told Paige.
"Ignore her please." Anna the eldest started. "She is a social media Queen Bee. Though, honestly, those pictures are really creepy and maybe hideous. You should really considering deleting them all. I could help take nice pictures of you when next I visit. And to set the record straight, I didn't travel miles for June's wedding. I live and work at Acubana. It's less than two hours from here. Anna winked.
"I'm glad you all are getting along. Paige dear, you must meet my Son. He's the cutest human ever." Said Emily.
"Indeed." Anna chipped in followed by a choking laughter from June.
"You should drink some water princessa. We don't want you choking on your food." Came the deep soft velvet masculine voice from the stairs.
"King Simon finally join us for dinner. Oh! how lovely of you sir. Please step down your highness and take your seat at your high throne." Anna said sarcastically.
"Such a kind gesture, we are honoured my lord." June added and Paige almost choked on her food while laughing. Sarcasm have never felt better. She had a feeling she was going to miss these two when they leave. Simon took his seat at the head of the table while the maid served his food.
"Why is she staying on my floor" he asked resting his eyes on Paige which made her feel awkward and uneasy.
"I thought she'll get enough rest and quiet over there since you're rarely around. One of her hobbies include reading." Emily replied.
"How did you know that Mrs. Kentley?" Paige asked surprised.
"That's on me." June said signifying with a raised hand. We went through your social media accounts while trying to know few things about you. By WE, my annoying brother is not included. He's hardly interested in his own life."
"Wow, that's really nice. Thank you so much for going through the stress to make me comfortable." Paige said looking at everybody at once. She wanted them to know that she was grateful to all of them.
"At least I know that your favorite colors are Yellow and orange." Simon spoke directly to Paige since he entered the room.
"That's because she's wearing both colors brother. You know nothing." June replied cutting her brother short. Paige who was short of words earlier on finally realized that he may have guessed the colours because that was what she had on. It was true that Yellow was her favorite color but not orange. She let out an awkward smile.
"Do you always dress like that?" Simon started. I mean with bright colors even at night. You look like a sunflower. The colors are nice but too bright for dinner. Once again, Paige faked a smile. Though mad at the fact that he indirectly bashed her dress. The conversations at the table kicked off with everybody talking about something while Paige's attention was captured by the muscular body seated not too far away from her. She couldn't stop staring at the movement of his lips, his bulging biceps, the movement of his throat when he swallowed.
"Paige." Anna called touching her slightly.
"Yes, what" She replied trying to catch up with their conversation.
"We were asking if you don't like the steak. You haven't eaten much of it." Said Anna.
"Oh no, I love it. It's nice." Paige replied taking a large bite of the steak.
The devil was right there staring at Paige smiling. He didn't as much as stop staring even when their eyes met. On one occasion, he bit his lower lips sending chills down her spine. That night, Paige dreamt that she was with him, in his bed and he took her in every way she could ever imagine.
