"Nonsense, just call me Emily. The prefix you add before my name make me feel so old." Emily told paige as they exercised in the morning. She was one great woman full of life and vibe. They ran through the treadmill as they talked about everything and nothing.
The Kentley's mansion houses a gym, a music studio, a mini cinema that can contain at least 20 people, a swimming pool, a garden, a tennis court, a football pitch and a mini playground. This was indeed an all in one house. "Again, money is good." Paige thought to herself.
"I'd rather call you mother if you don't mind." She told Emily. This was because calling her Emily was such a hard task for her."
"That sounds far better." Emily agreed.
They finished up at the Gym and quickly took a shower. Paige spent the previous night unpacking and settling down. While today was spent with Emily. She made a draft of the best type of food for her paying attention to her favorite foods and trying her best to incorporate them even in tiny bits to her daily meal. The plan was to gradually wean her off the antihypertensives she was on. Emily was so dependant on those drugs that she fear for her life If she dare stop them. So weaning her off them was going to be a gradual process. Tomorrow, Paige decide was going to be for Emily's grocery shopping.
Dinner that night was just Paige and Emily. Anna and June Kentley left in the morning and haven't seen Simon all day. Paige was actually glad that she was around to keep Emily company. She wondered how bored she used to be in this big house all alone when everyone must have left. Heading back to her room after dinner, she decided to check on her neighbor. She tiptoed to his door to probably see if she could get a view of him. His door was slightly open once again and he lay there on his bed with only his shorts on. His upper body was exposed and oh! Paige thanked G*d on his behalf for creating such a beautiful work of art.
Having fed her eyes enough, she headed back to her room. Inside, she opened her Instagram and saw the pictures June complained about and couldn't stop smiling. These were pictures taken during the good old days while she was still battling with school. The smile turned to sobs when she remembered what she went through in School. She remembered what Veronica put her through. She remembered when she, Veronica sold Paige's Father's textile factory and gave her nothing out the money she realized from the sale.
If there was anything she had learnt, it was how to be a strong woman and she was grateful to that she met Stefan. He was her reality and he loves her from the first day. He has never judged her nor compared her to any other woman. Paige is his everything and this alone was all that she wanted. All that she needed. She was also grateful to Nathan and to the Kentleys. Life feels good already and she could feel my blessings coming.
In the midst of these thoughts, she dozed off. Tonight, she dreamt of her Father, mother and herself. It was a beautiful dream.
