Paige needed his money. There were lots of bills to be paid and there was her childhood memory that needed to be secured. It was way more than her.
But, she was scared of living in the same house with Simon. The Kentley's were amazing. But, what about the whole feelings piled up inside her. Love was obviously the last thing on her mind.

"Do you still have a boyfriend?"
The only excuse you gave for not wanting to feel it was your boyfriend. Is the excuse still valid?"

"Ahhhh," came the moan from Paige.

"Shhhh, you don't want to disturb the people behind those doors. He said.



A Crazy Kind Of Love

The whole place was buzzing with guests all in their gorgeous outfits. Simon and Emily walked up to Paige and Anna.

"Mum, could you keep Paige company. I want to have a word with my sister." Simon requested.

"Sure darling." Emily replied and pecked her son. "Come on Paige, there are lots of people I want you to meet." She said and took her into the Hall.

"What's up?" Anna asked impatiently. Simon whispered something to her which she nodded to. He then left with his friend Nelson.

"Where the hell is he going to?" June asked walking up to her sister. Anna turned and wrapped her in a warm hug.

"Oh my God, you look so gorgeous darling. You are so beautiful. Alfred is just so lucky." She said.

"Where is Simon heading to?" June asked ignoring everything her sister said.

"The Emerson's." Anna replied in a hushed tone.

"What happened to them? I thought we took care of them." June asked impatiently.

"The last one seem to be recovering fast. Simon got a call from the home. He went to see for himself. He'll be back soon." Anna replied.

"I told y'all to finish what we started. I just hate this. That dude might be pretending for all we know. I hope he does the needful once he get there. Cause I am so not loosing any other member of this family as a result of our carelessness." June said upset.

"Shhhh, Paige is coming." Anna whispered. June put up a smiley face immediately. Paige walked up to the duo smiling.

"Congratulations June." She said giving her a hug. "You look adorable and I love love love your outfit."

"Thank you so much Paige darling. Where have you been? She asked.

"Oh, Emily took her round." Anna said smiling.

"You have no idea. I know the names of almost everyone in this party." Paige said laughing. She was joined by the Kentley girls who knew what their mother was capable of.

"Come guys. I want to introduce you to some of our friends. June said and pulled them along with her.

The introduction took a while. Paige was officially introduced into their world of class and wealth. June introduced her Fiance Alfred and a couple of his friends. After the introduction Anna took Paige to get a drink.

"Let's go see some of my friends that made it to the party." Anna told Paige.

Both ladies headed to the centre of the party. Anna had few classy and well calculated friends who she introduced Paige to.

"Hey Frankie," Anna called on seeing her friend.

"The Anna Kentley!" Frankie called smiling. Both friends hugged each other with a hearty laughter.

"Meet my friend, Paige. She's a Nurse." Anna introduced them.

Paige smiled hearing Anna call her friend. People like Anna were so careful with who they associate themselves with. It was so evident with her lifestyle.

"Hi, I'm Frankie." He introduced himself and offered a handshake which Paige took in smiling.

"It's nice meeting you Frankie." Paige said. Just then the band started a song.

"Would you mind having a dance with me Miss Paige?" Frankie asked smiling. Paige looked at Anna with unease. She gave her a slight nod smiling.

Frankie took her to the dance floor while Anna went to find her sister to finish up their initial conversation.
