Chapter 66: I'm all in

"She's staying right?" Felix asked in anticipation as Frankie walked up to them. Sarah looked up at her son waiting impatiently for a reply.

"She's staying." Frankie replied smiling.

"Lauretta!" Sarah Tedson called her head of staff excitedly as she stood up from her seat. "Quickly, get the royal guestroom ready. We're having an important guest on Sunday." She announced. "Get fresh Roses and vase of clean water," she turned to Franklin. "Does she love Roses, Lilies, does she love flowers?" She asked him.

"Mum, calm down. She's coming on Sunday, not today." Frankie reminded her with a smile.

"Oh! Answer me Franklin Tedson." She said impatiently. "Sunday is just around the corner." The two brothers stared at their mother not in the least surprise at her level of excitement. She seem to be so fond of Paige that everybody was expecting her to react the exact way she did.

Just then, Lauretta appeared through the hallway. "Are there more changes you'd love to be made in the guest room ma'am?" She asked Sarah.

"Lauretta, we need to change the curtains to a warmer color, get a diffuser as well. Look for warm colors." she dished out instructions as she walked away from the sitting room making her way to the hallway in the direction of the guest room. "Come along." she told Lauretta who immediately followed her close behind.

"Oh boy," Felix let out. "The few hours before Sunday is going to be all about your girlfriend brother. I might as well request for a hearing aid cause mum will blow out our ears." Felix said holding his head up with the aid of his palms.

"She's not my girlfriend yet Fe." Franklin replied.

"But she will, won't she? I mean you're planning on formally asking her out ain't you?" Felix asked.

"Definitely." Came franklin's reply.

Felix smiled wholeheartedly. "I'm rooting for you. But for n......."

"Franklin Tedson," Sarah called from the hallway interrupting Felix. "You need to order some sleep wears for her and comfortable slippers as well, preferably fur slippers. Try getting some from Nolla or Shonnelle and make sure to choose the weekend express delivery option to have them delivered tomorrow." She instructed, her voice sounding loud and clear even from the distance.

"Order some lingerie for her as well dude. Girls love that shit so much. You might want to book a session with me though. I can teach you how to successfully woo a woman. We all know you're not the type that go after ladies. And that brings me to my question Frankie, why her? What's so special?" Felix asked with quizzically.

"Fe," Franklin called shifting closer to his younger brother. "She's a very smart lady. Aside beauty, she is intelligent, caring, considerate and hardworking. I had a chat with Anna about her and she only proved my point further." He replied.

"Anna, as in Anna Kentley?" Felix asked with a surprise expression earning a nod from his brother. "What happened between the both of you? One moment she was your all time crush and now, she's what? What's her position in your life now?" Felix asked.

"That was a long ago, we were kids bro." Franklin defended.

"We were teenagers brother. We weren't kids." Felix corrected.

"Teenagers are kids and i was the one that was obsessed about her. You know the teenage hormone and all that. It was never a mutual feeling. But hey, we're all grown now." He replied tapping his brother on the back with a warm smile.

"Okay, if you say so. But, you'd better be sure that you both share nothing and you're being completely honest with yourself cause Frankie, you're bringing Paige home to the family. We've already accepted her without a proper introduction. We're all ready to apply pressure on your behalf if it's needed for the success of the relationship. You need to know that we'll do all this only because you told us that you love her and you made us believe that she makes you happy. So please, you have to be sure that you're all in." Felix told his brother all serious.

Franklin paused for a while. Felix's words rang in his head. This was the closest he's ever had Felix talk about his relationship. "Fe," he called holding his brother's shoulder drawing him closer. "I'm all in. Not even a spec of me is left out." He replied earning a smile and a nod from Felix. Both brothers look at themselves and roared with laughter.

"You'd better check for the girly essentials mama told you about and the lingerie as well If you still want them delivered tomorrow." He said.

"Oh my god, I'm on it right away." Frankie replied grabbing his smartphone

"Do you need help with the lingerie selection?" Felix asked smiling mischievously.

"Get a life dude." Franklin blurted out as he went through the lingerie collection on Nolla website shaking his head with smiles.

Back at the Kentleys, Paige looked her dress over one more time. This was no doubt the best dress she's ever owned. She smiled recalling that she thought the same back at Lakeview when she saw the dress Simon got for her. But then in all honesty, this presently, was the best dress she's ever owned. Her phone buzzed from a Stefan call. She stared at the screen for a while and as usual, she decided to ignore it. She opened the big envelope and discovered that it was the contract Anna promised to send. She dropped it on the console table and eased out of her dress, picked it up and hung it carefully in the wardrobe. Left in her underwear, she bolted the door securely. Once satisfied that it was all good, she took the contract to the bed and sat down to go through it.

Paige have never been a calm and patient person when it came to reading write-ups with bogus words but she tried going through the contract. After rushing through the first few pages, she was assured that Simon was a man of his words and yes, he added that a mouth watering payment of a huge amount of money will be made to her at the end of their agreed year. She impatiently went through other pages but got bored after a while. Having seen few highlights, she reassured herself that Simon and Anna would never take her for granted nor mislead her. She was so confident about this when she took the pen in the envelope and signed the contract quickly. The money at the end was a bonus that she was happy and looking forward to. Even if she never get to receive the money, knowing that she'll have her home, company and life back after a short period of time was worth looking forward to as well.

She packed the contract back into the envelope, covered herself with a bathrobe and pressed the notification button to summon Samira who appeared at the door almost immediately. Getting hold of the envelope, she opened the door and handed it to Samira. "Take this to Sherman, have him give it to Simon, thank you." She told Samira who nodded before leaving. Satisfied that she have cleared everything that needed her attention, she headed to the bathroom to have a warm shower. She made a mental note to call Emily afterwards and speak with her. They've barely spoken to each other since she left for Acubana and she blames herself as she's been all about enjoyment and fun forgetting her lovely host.

**************************

Saturday morning came as a lazy day for Paige. She felt extremely tired with joint pains and headache. She freshened up quickly after waking up and realizing that she's slept for almost half of the day. She wondered why nobody cares to wake her up nor came to check up on her to know if she actually wanted breakfast or not. Making her way downstairs, she didn't see Simon in the kitchen nor the dinning hall. She regretted not checking up on him upstairs before coming down. "Where is Simon?" She asked Sherman

"Good morning miss Paige." Sherman greeted. "He left very early this morning and instructed not to wake you up until you do so yourself."

"Why?" She asked.

"He didn't say ma'am." Sherman told her.

"Okay." She replied checking her phone to check if he at least attempted calling or dropping a message for her, but saw nothing.

"Can we serve you breakfast now Miss Paige?" Sherman asked.

"Yes please." She replied heading back to the dinning hall. Breakfast came almost immediately she took a seat. She was very hungry, so she wasted no time eating her food. She was almost done eating before Simon walked into the dinning hall looking all sparkly in an ocean blue shirt and trouser.

"Good morning darling." He greeted walking up to her. He planted a kiss on her forehead with Paige shifting uncomfortably in her seat seeing that the maids and Sherman were standing right there. She looked at Sherman who quickly looked away. "Get my breakfast." He told the maids. "Leave us Sherman." He instructed. Sherman bowed and left.

"Why are you telling him to leave." Paige said in a not so happy tone. "He'll think you asked him to leave cause you wish to do more than a forehead kiss and maybe there is something between us too." She complained.

"I want more than forehead kisses and I want to be your man. So, if he thinks any of these, he's absolutely correct." Simon replied with a chuckle.
