Spirit

They were about to enter the car when a sudden sound was heard and then an object was flashed toward them. The window got hit with bullets freaking them out.

"Havana!!" He shouted in his top voice worried for Havana. Before he could think of what the bullet was for, another bullet came in and was shot into Havana's hand.

Once the reason for the sound hit him, he rushed to Havana to check on her, and then he discovered Havana's hand was bringing out green liquid instead of blood.

James rushed towards her but then he discovered that the liquid did not only come out from her hand but then from her hand, arm, chest, her face.

Havana became strange acting up like she was severely sick and then she reached for the ground feeling weak as her face became monstrous turning bit to bit to a skeleton and then Havana fell on the ground with her entire body in a thick green liquid statue.

James looked at the event stunned by it, his hands shivered and his head felt like it was about to explore seeing what happened.

"Ha... Ha... Havana..."

He trembled and was about to touch the body of Havana when he felt a grip on his hand.

He was about to turn to see the person when the person spoke.

"If I were you I wouldn't have the guts to touch it."

He turned to see the person's face and then he saw the dead smirk on the person's face.

He had golden hair that reached his shoulder, was a white man, and then he was dressed in a phenomenal dress like he was a soldier from time and space.

"You!!!" He screeched furiously in anger as he stood.

"What have you done?!!!"

He yelled at the man but then the man scorned him as he walked to the car's driver seat.

James was dazed as he observed the man enter the car.

"C'mon enter, we have somewhere to go."

"What." He strode to the driver's seat and then opened the door.

"Get out, now!!!"

"Dude, you have to listen." He arrogantly said.

"Tell me, what should I listen from you."

"I'm only trying to save your life here. This is an apocalypse, things are detrimental and malignant here. If you would have touched that thing over there," He pointed to Havana's liquid.

"Then you would have found yourself in your worst place, condemned by your memories."

"How do you know that?" He calmly asked.

"I know because I've seen a lot. I've been there, the real Havana is in paradise. The one that was with you was just a lookalike. Precisely, a lookalike that becomes unfeeling when the time is right to give execution when given a command from the devil."

James turned to the liquid body as he sighed deeply.

"Look, we have the same mission. We have the same thing to do. We have to go to paradise, just like you, there is also someone there who's waiting for me."

"Me too," James said, with a look of determination set in his eyes.

"So are we going?" The dude arrogantly asked as James nodded.

"Yes, let's go."

They both entered the car as the fella drove the car.

Once they got to the road, it was silent and cold like a deserted place. No one was in the area, it was silent like no one had existed, it came in with the flow of the whistle of the empty environment.

After a drive of ten minutes which was supposed to take longer, they reached the petrol station.

The two got out of the car.

"So what do you know about the apocalypse?" James asked.

"Throughout the years of staying in this apocalypse thing, I had only one goal and that's I want to escape this world."

"Good luck finding a way to escape. We could only do this only if we can find clues."

James said as he took the kegs in the car to fill them up. The guy, took the kegs filling them as he responded.

"I came from another dimension."

Hearing it, James paused as he gave him a shocked look.

"What?"

"Hmmm. I know you are shocked about this but then logically, I shouldn't be telling you this because I know this would cause danger."

"Why?"

"In a time like this, I shouldn't trust anyone, especially in this time of apocalypse."

"So, I can't trust you?."

"Yes, maybe James but that's up to you. In this time, is all about the survivors until he comes."

"Jesus?"

"Is not just him that's going to come. This apocalypse is just more than what a person could imagine."

"But wasn't it in the Bible?"

"I know that it was written in the Bible, the prophecy of revelations from..."

"Peter."

James completed it as the fella turned to him to smile at him and then James remembered he'd not asked for his name.

"So what's your name?"

He said as he helped him to carry the kegs into the car.

"Macus."

"Oh, Macus, my name's James."

"So if this is an apocalypse from revelations then why hasn't anything happened?"

"It seems like you know nothing. It as began already, with the trumpets."

"Trumpets?"

Macus heaved a deep breath.

"According to the prophecy, some part of the earth was burnt when the first trumpet was blown. A third part of the earth was burnt. That means the fire has entered the earth. There must be a war that has started already. Probably the devil has entered the earth already."

"But, if this is a survival thing then why are we going to the modern place of Ephesus?"

"Not everything is just said, some things are done carefully and hidden first. Before something occurs they are events that have to be set. Those seven churches that were mentioned were not for nothing and I know so. If we go to the churches I'm sure that we would find some clues and probably. The whole truth about this event."

"Okay."

James entered the car as Marcus tried his best to place the kegs in the boot.

"Can't you help?" Macus yelled as he carried the kegs.

"I would, but I'm kinda weak."

"Prove that I'm lying." James added.

"Maybe if I walk out of here and leave you to do this is enough."

"You're bluffing."

Macus shunned it as he walked out of the place.

"You're lying..." He yelled as he continued to walk.

"Macus?" He couldn't hear his response so he checked the mirror just to see that he was leaving.

"Hey!!!!" James yelled as he got out of the car running to him as fast as he could.
