Dimension

Clara knelt with tears on her face as she stared at him.

"Wake up! Wake up now!! You have to wake up!!!" She yelled holding him on the collar as she shook it.

"Will you wake up, James?!!!!" She pleaded even though she knew that it would be impossible for him to hear her. His face looked distressed, she wondered what he wants to prove by taking the hit that Macus was supposed to take.

Just in that nick of time, he was able to obstruct the hit from the monster. And now, his face looks all burdened in fear, pain, and stress.

"Clara, we have to get in the car now. We have to leave."

"Macus, we have to take him along. I know that he would need our help in some way..." Macus sighed as he looked down to see James' face, it's true he needs help but he knew that James was the only person who could get them to where they were going.

As he saw how his face flinched in sorrow. He sighed as he helped Clara to carry him by the shoulders.

James gaped at the surrounding, right in the middle of a desert. The place was so hot to the fact that his shoes were not worn, with the fact his dress was baggy he began to sweat so much.

"Oh my, oh Lord...please help me in this situation," he uttered as he took each step he could take on the hot sands. His legs began to burn, he walked in most of the sand and after some time he knew that this was leading him nowhere.

He raised his leg for him to see and then he saw that blisters were on his foot.

He took a few more steps but then his eyes became blurry with no hope until he saw a figure walking towards him.

He lucid his sight and then he saw that the figure that was coming towards him was a woman.

She came along with a clay pot in her hand.

"Ha... Havana?!!!!!" Amused by the appearance, he became conscious of the way he was suffering at her front.

"Oh no, what am I going to do?" He looked at his dirty clothes trying to make a fit for her to see him neat but then he was late.

"Hello," she said in a gentle voice once she got to him and gave him a sweet smile.

He raised his head and hesitated before he completely looked at her.

Just with that smile, he knew that it was a deceiving one, the smile never seems to represent the true Havana so he was able to figure out that it was one of the devil's minions.

He scrutinized her, and then he saw that the clay pot she held was dropped on the ground.

"Hi... Could you give me water? I need it," he walked closer to the demon as the figure gave him a reassuring smile.

She went to the pot just to grasp a cup that was behind it, she poured a bit of water and then gave it to James.

He thanked as he took to drink, just when he was about to drink the cup, centimeters away from his mouth, he checked once again and then he saw that the water in the cup turned to blood.

"Jesus!!!" He exclaimed as he dropped the cup, the blood in the cup poured on the ground like water but then when he checked the ground it became red, once the water was out of the cup it turned to the blood which influx the area filled with sand.

The woman stayed but out of amazement, she looked at James. As James' eyes reached her, he could see that her appearance was beginning to change into a skeleton.

James looked at her with stunned eyes as the skeleton stared at him. He moved back gently as the skeleton tilted her head a bit as smiled at him.

"What's wrong? You wouldn't take the water? James, why wouldn't you do so?" The skeleton walked towards him as he moved backward, the skeleton shakes its head and then it fell on the floor.

This made everything wrong as the bloody ground turned into the skeleton's hands instead and then he felt each hand touch him to pull him into the bloody ground.

"Come with me, James. There's more to enjoy. Come with me." He heard whispers, and he struggled as much as he could, trying to remove the skeleton hands on his leg.

"What's wrong, James? Don't want to? See, I have a lot for you, all you just need to do is to accept me. There's a whole world filled with beauty. Beautiful things, James. Why don't you..." The skeleton's hands still pulled him into the bloody sand as his head was about to enter but amid the situation, the skeleton that was with him pulled him instead.

"Accept me, James. Just accept me and we could rule more than this world but a lot of places." He heard the skeleton say, when he turned to see the skeleton he saw Havana with a smile on her face.

"James, I'm someone who you should have but then tell me why are you punishing yourself? Just accept me. James..."

James shut his eyes and then the ground began to sink him. He knew that it was going to be difficult for him but then when he opened his eyes, he saw that the skeleton turned into his doppelganger with scars all over like he was beaten.

"You are useless, James, can't you see that you're only deceiving yourself, this is what would happen if you make these silly decisions you're making. You're frivolity without us!!!" He yelped arrogantly.

Those words echoed in fury and then he was pulled this time in a jiffy as he entered another dimension.

"Arghhh!!!" He grunted as he opened his eyes, and he discovered that he was swimming in a pool of blood in which he was at the bottom.

He kept his mouth shut, held his breath, and then he swam, he swam but then he began to lose hope since he was swimming nowhere. He hadn't gotten to the surface.

He was beginning to lose oxygen, and then he began to swim slowly. Just when he felt he shouldn't anymore, he heard a voice, the voice of his grandfather.

"Sometimes, the devil tries to play tricks on us. He might be cunning but if you're strong. You would be able to pass through, son. Nothing is stronger than believing and having faith."

He opened his eyes ready like he was filled with a lot of energy once he heard that voice.

He swam with hope and believe that he was getting somewhere and then he saw a light spot. He swam faster and then he finally made it to the top where he saw the light come from the sky.
