Beautiful

Chicago International airport...

After hours of driving, their journey led them to Chicago airport which was closed for years. James wondered how Macus was able to find the location of the airport since it has been locked down.

James turned to Macus to ask and like an open book, Macus was able to find out what he was about to say.

"I've lived here for quite a while, not just that I stayed here but also I made sure to look for clues, clues I could find to get out of this asshole hell. Even if the matter is about classic places. I know by the time this apocalypse will not become any better."

"But how were you able to figure out this place?"

"GC internet."

"What?"

"Great classic internet, contains the files of document of the time the internet started. I was able to find a way to access the encrypted files."

"Oh..."

"So where is the area, Ephesus is a very old name of the country."

"Just wait and see," Macus said as a smile crept on the corners of his lip, James could already figure out that the place would be a surprise not just because of where they would go but because he knew that he must be planning something within.

Macus stopped the car as James and Clara got off the car. They carried their bags as they walked toward the gate of the airport.

Once they got to the gate there was a passcode. James heaved a deep breath as he pinched the skin between his eyebrows, how could they possibly enter the airport?

Macus walked towards the passcode and in shock, he pressed the four digits of the passcode correctly at once.

"Macus, how were you able to answer it correctly?" Clara asked in awe.

"The research I've done, the GC internet not just gives the history of classic places but also the vital details of each classic place. Clara, we'll be using the car so is best if you drive it into the plane," he said curtly Clara immediately obliged as she went to drive the car.

With each place that they came across a passcode, Macus was able to access the passcode and so they finally arrived at the airplane base.

"Wow!!!" James was amazed as he looked at the surrounding then he remembered something about the area.

"This place has been shut down for about close to fifty years now."

"I know," Macus said calmly as he stared at the airplane.

"No one uses airplanes again and besides how are we going to get out of this place, who knows if the airplane is probably filled with fuel," James argued.

"You'll see whether or not," Macus took steady steps towards a wall that was behind as he tapped a particular part of the wall, and then the wall opened to reveal a secret room.

The wall opened like a sliding door and then it hit them to see what the surprise was.

------

Macus hit the password on the wall, and then the wall opened automatically. When the door was fully opened the guys were in awe just to see the room.

Macus casually walked into the room along with Clara who couldn't be any less surprised. The room was filled with fuel for the airplane. A room filled with tanks of fuel.

"How come? Oh wow, these people are cunning," Clara burst into laughter as she stared at the tanks on the shelves from down to top about forty feet tall.

"It seems we have our ride," she murmured as she tapped her fingers on one of the tanks.

The trio found a way to get the fuel into the airplanes and Clara drove the car into the airplane.

James took a glance at Macus once they entered the airplane, he wondered whether Macus probably knew how to take control of the airplane. Even if he was not quite sure, he had his hunch.

James walked towards the control of the airplane and then a smile crept up his face as he lightly touched the controls, he could do this. Is just according to those simulations.

"Wanna fly?" He heard Macus ask, and James gave him the impression that he was cool with it.

The two took control of the airplane and as for Clara, she sat in the passenger's seat.

They began preparing for the flight and so the gate that was used to guide the planes automatically opened. They started the engine, as they took their flight to another country.

In Air...

James couldn't help but be astonished about himself flying the plane. Though he played simulations of the 90's airplane, he never assumed that he was actually going to fly the plane.

He gape at the rays of sunlight that shone tenaciously. Even if it's shining so brightly in the sky, down there, is only like a saucy hell as it shines, it never gave the vibe of hope anymore.

He couldn't help but heave a deep breath, in every story there is always a villain but now, not just the villain but the mastermind of all villains have awakened. He hoped just like the ray of sunlight everyone who was out there trying to survive will also survive.

He looked at the navigation screen for just a few more hours and they would be at their destination.

He turned to Macus just to see him calm as he stared at the distance of the sun, it felt as though there was something he was looking for in there.

"Isn't it beautiful?" James asked as Macus attention immediately drifted as he turned to him.

"Hmm. What's beautiful?" Macus calmly asked as James became a bit confused, was it that he was thinking when he stared at the sun's distance which is why he didn't understand when he said so?
