Chapter 8 P2 Fee’s Workshop

"Waves! How do you like your eggs?!" Fee shouted from another room, to which I'm assuming is the kitchen.

"Scrambled!" I shouted back while in the workshop, smashing a multi-tool hammer on a thick piece of slanted metal that is on Fee's DIY table. "Put some cheese and milk on it too! I know you got milk and cheese in that kitchen!" I haven't had eggs in so long, my taste buds would be grateful.

Now yes, we don't have cows to produce milk, but we do have bitches (female dogs) from Clazzies who are willing to eat healthy nutrients in order to make their milk taste and smell exactly like cow milk. There's also a machine where we don't even need extra ingredients to make cheese. All the machine needs is just milk to create cheese. No, I don't know how the hell the machine works, it already sounds complex as it is.

Enough about milk, my neck is feeling a lot better now. I don't know why Fee wants me to hammer down on this thick metal, but he wants me to hammer it until it is nicely flat.

Cling! Cling! Cling! CLING!

There! Nicely flat. As soon as I put the hammer down on the DIY table, my ears perk to the sound of the front door creaking open. I glance through the opened entrance of the workshop door on my left side, and I see none other but the Alpha standing inside Fee's dorm in the hallway with a huge, flat box that is most likely a package. The Alpha grins wildly at me.

"Waves..." the Alpha barked in a lengthy tone.

"You better fucking leave this instant!" I snarled with sudden aggression before hopping off a small wooden stool. "Or I'll-"

"Temper much?" The Alpha chuckled. "I thought you humping that little flea bag of yours would make you less angry."

"Bitch!" I snapped. I storm out of the workshop and towards the Alpha and the flat box. "I'll rip every part of your claws and shove them down your ears!"

"I suppose you have not mated him yet, as it was the reward Fee was more than willing to give you." The Alpha explained as I soon try to claw her front body with my metal claw, but she pulled away from my range. "But that won't matter!" She huffed as she points down at a box with one of her front paws "What matters, is that I have... a gift! A gift from me, yes, only me, and you're going to accept it."

I stop trying to attack her and sit down in front of the box, looking down at it with major awareness. "Is it really that huge...?" I asked skeptically.

"I'm wondering the same thing..." the Alpha said loosely. "I- I mean yes of course it's huge, what do you expect, Dariuz's corpse! Disgusting, Waves!" She quickly spoke up.

I slightly groan in annoyance before looking down at the box, as it is taped up and beaten up. I unsheathe my metal claw and start cutting open the box through the tape. Afterwards, I open the box with my normal paw, then my eyes went wide. "My... sniper." I look back up at the Alpha. "How the hell did you manage to get it back?"

"Once again, it was a gift to me. That's all you need to know..." the Alpha whispered as she lowers her height to get to my level. "For now..."

I resume snarling at her face while dipping my metal paw slowly into the box. "I know there's another reason you're here in the first place, mutt."

"You're right. But what are you going to do about it?"

"Don't test me."

"Or what?"

Click, pop, woosh, SHING.

"Or this knife." I barked, referring to the knife that is really close to her neck. "Will slit ya, then ya... Ya hearing like a hound dog, or wagging that tail like a lost dog?"

"...We'll meet again another time WITHOUT weapons involved." The Alpha huffed as she steps away from my knife and got back up to her height. I drop the knife into the box, then I notice the Alpha's eyes are not looking down at me anymore, but instead behind me, so I turn around to see Fee staring at the Alpha with worry as he carries two platefuls of eggs. "Well, there's the puny little mongrel. I wanted to tell you that your heir will be the next warmonger since this powerful beagle here has killed your previous mate, and now you and-"

"Just... leave, please and thank you." Fee whimpered a bit.

"I beg your pardon?" The Alpha snarled lowly.

"You heard him." I snarled before leaping over the box to get more closer to the Alpha as she looks back down at me in shock. "Leave right now."

"But-"

"I said LEAVE!" I howled up at the Alpha, and she pins her pointy ears back in shock before turning around and dash out of Fee's place through the front door that is wide open, and I can hear her paws tapping down the hall until I couldn't hear her anymore. I let out an angry sigh before turning around to face Fee and my huge sniper in the box, and I look down at the sniper with regret in my mind. "Dammit..."

"Waves, let's... let's just eat. We'll... figure things out with the box later, a- and the box, okay?" Fee barked anxiously with his slim body slightly trembling.

"Fine..." I muttered. I walk over the box and towards Fee, then I grab the plateful of scrambled eggs with my teeth before laying down next to him on my stomach. Afterwards, I place my plateful of eggs in front of me.

"Erm... hun, we have a table." Fee whispered.

"I don't need a table." I grumbled.

"I- If you insist..." he winced as he begins lowering himself onto the floor with me.

"Fee, that doesn't mean-"

Shatter!

I glance to the side of my plate to see pieces of Fee's plate and scrambled eggs scattered on the floor. Holding back pity, I picked up the plate with my teeth again and got up with it. "Follow me." I said through the plate. I walk over to the kitchen where the wooden table and chairs are at, then I hop on one of the wooden chairs and place the plateful of scrambled eggs on the table. I look over my shoulder to see Fee hesitantly hopping onto the chair next to me, obviously holding back the urge of tears as he stares down at the table in silence with his ears pinned back. With my metal paw, I slowly push the plateful of scrambled eggs next to the sad Fee. "Eat."

"B- But it's yours..." Fee sniffled as he looks back at me with his teary gray eyes. "B- B- But you're hungry, just eat-"

"Love..." I snarled grumbly. "Eat. Now."

"S- Sorry..." he slightly sobbed before looking down at the plateful of eggs I have given him, then he starts chowing down on the scrambled eggs with loud, hungry, slurping noises. Exactly what I wanted to hear. Just look at him, eating loudly like it was his last meal, it's safe to assume that either Dariuz was starving him, or he's been starving himself on purpose, or just don't have time to eat in general because of work hours. It wouldn't hurt to ask, hm?

"Fee-"

"I- I'm sorry!" Fee suddenly yelped with a mouthful of eggs, looking back up at me with tears rolling down his cheeks with a facial expression of fear. "P- Please, I said I- I'm sorry, I- I really am, please!"

I gently inhale. "Love." I started with a calm approach. "You're being..." hmmm, Overreactive? Nah, he'll just brush it off. Crazy? Not crazy enough really, so no. Actually, I know what I'm going to say now. "A..." never mind, calling him a psychotic bitch won't do anything. "...A little too apologetic."

Fee slowly tilts his head to one side in visible confusion. "I- I am...?" He whimpered. "I thought... b- but... Dariuz said-"

"No." I immediately barked. "Forget about Dariuz, there shouldn't be a reason for you to mention him, or to even let him pop up in your mind. What matters is that you need to-"

BLIIIIIIIIING!

"Attention! Waves Young Waverly and Fee, please come to the private meeting formed by the Alpha!"

I gently raise an eyebrow at Fee. "Private meeting?"
