The maid opened the door, giving way for Liliana to enter while carrying the cloth-wrapped box with both hands. Her arrival caught Talia and Old Master Ding's attention.
They were sitting on the couch in the middle of the room with no personal attendants in sight.
"Oh? What's that in your hand?" Old Master Ding was curious to see the box held by Liliana, "Come sit here, Lili."
Smiling at the old man, Liliana abid to his words. She sat next to Talia on the two-seater couch. Old Master Ding was on the single one, looking at the box with interest.
"Grandpa Ding, I won't beat around the bush," said Liliana. She took in a deep breath before continued talking, "There's something I want to tell you and there are a few things you have to see."
The solemnity in Liliana's tone was a contrast to her smile. Old Master Ding was slightly stunned.
"...what do you mean by that?"
