"You see?!" I practically exploded in excitement as my hands moved animatedly in front of me. "The sauce makes all the difference, right?"
"It's so savory and yet..." The young chef visibly struggled to put words into her mouth as her previous bite still lingered in her cheeks. "So light and creamy?"
I found myself making a fist pump at a job well done as she described how it tasted. It was the intended taste, after all. The creaminess of the egg would balance the savory flavor of the demi-glace, making it filling, and at the same time, make you crave for more with each bite. It was a flavor bomb that made sure you wouldn't be able to eat anything else for the next few hours, and that would make it ridiculously lucrative if it ever went off in this town.
"Right? And can you see yourself eating more after you finish that bowl?"
