66.X2 Interlude: Flare IV

It had been a while since Flare had conversed with her nominal Master.

 

With her Master getting better at manipulating and reserving his Wesen, the phoenix never really had a chance in talking to the man for the past year. And while it wasn't a foregone conclusion that her Master had forgotten her, Flare still found herself feeling a pang of loneliness as she drifted from book to book in her Master's vast expanse of a mindscape. In the year that had passed, the phoenix had managed to read a considerable portion of her host's memories alongside a bit more of the knowledge laying about throughout the shelves of the forge. In a way, she was truly becoming more like her land lord; an ever increasingly jaded woman unsure of her own purpose in life. Except...
