Chapter 118: There's Been an Accident

"Danny's not answering my calls or texts, either," Tiffany said on a rush of breath. "So, I had Garrett try, too, and still nothing. I asked Cory to try, too, but I doubt Danny will answer him. They don't exactly get along."

Bradley's face and neck heated with anger, and he took a few seconds to focus on calming his pulse. Deep breath in. Exhale. Deep breath in. Exhale. Repeat. But all he managed to do was make himself dizzy. Sick with worry, his stomach twisted and coiled into a tight knot.

"They couldn't have just disappeared," Bradley grumbled.

He doubted Danny was smart enough to pull that off. Not to mention, Danny didn't have the kind of money for something like that.

"What did Cory find out from his parents?" He slowed down again, heart racing, but the car that sped by wasn't Carissa's.

"They haven't talked to her, either." Tiffany paused. "Mrs. Jordan is calling local hospitals, and Mr. Jordan is calling in a few favors with the police."
