"What did you say?" He asked me.

"I wanted to know my lord if you were Prince O'Neil, " I replied briskly.

" I do not know of anyone by the name Prince O'Neil," he replied and walked out of the room before I could ask any more questions.

Words could not describe how I felt at the moment, if he wasn't Prince O'Neil then who was he? Why doesn't anyone else know?

I hid the scroll back in my dress and while I was confused, the door opened suddenly and Ellen rushed in.

"Sage!" She called me.

"The king wants to see you, immediately."

"Why?" I asked.

"I don't know, it must be related to you leaving the palace with Prince Andrew," She retorted.

I didn't waste any time because of how well I knew that the rulers hated to be kept waiting and Ellen led me to the king's chamber because I had never been there.
