I ran back to my chamber as if being chased by a ghost, I kept looking back and forth and the hallway being almost empty as usual didn't help at all.

As I got to the room, I was afraid to go in, my hand shook as I held the doorknob because I thought I would open the door to see him seated on my bed waiting for me.

A few servants passed and stared at me like I was insane and honestly, I thought that I was insane. I opened the door slowly and for the first time since I got to the palace, I was delighted to see Samantha.

I heaved a sigh of relief before relaxing my racing heart a bit, I didn't know why I felt so afraid of him even though I wasn't seeing him.

Samantha didn't pay attention to me, which was a good thing, so I walked towards my bed and sat for about five minutes before going into the bathroom to take a bath.

Even inside the bathroom, I was uncomfortable, every corner I stared at seemed to have his face.
