We didn't ride for so long when we entered a small village. I wasn't sure what kingdom it was, but it was very small and I wondered if many people knew about it.

The villagers were simple and busy, everyone had something to do so none of them stared at us meticulously even while we rode past them with our horses. We were not the only people who rode horses.

Several other villagers rode horses, wagons were pulled by horses and even little children enjoyed rides given to them by those horses so it was as if we blended in.

The village was surrounded by thick walls made of huge stones, and there was only one way in and out.

Before we got to the entrance, Allesio took off his helmet and changed into a simple outfit that Adriel had taken for him. It made him look like a normal villager on a horse with his wife which I wasn't.

Adriel on the other hand, took off his mask and greeted the gatekeeper.
