Eva and Xylon

As Xylon continued to walk towards the river, he couldn't help but feel a mixture of curiosity and apprehension.

The desert had been an unforgiving and harsh environment, and the sight of a river seemed like a mirage, a trick of his weary mind.

The sun hung high in the sky, its scorching rays beating down on him, making the sand beneath his feet feel like hot coals.

His throat was parched, and his body longed for water, but he knew he had to be cautious.

It wouldn't do him any good to rush towards the river without assessing the situation properly.

As he got closer, he noticed the distant sound of flowing water.

The sound was like a sweet melody to his ears, and it fueled his determination to reach the source.

He quickened his pace slightly, but still made sure not to exhaust himself.
