Extraction Alchemist - [ Chapter - 13 ]

So then Hyun Ki then looked closely at the cashier and the person was actually a cashier and so he then asked, "Do you know what it is?", the old man laughed and said, "Of Course, it's been in my family for generations now.".

Hyun Ki's eyes widened because this could be a clue to the ability's previous owner and he could even find more information about the ability itself and so Hyun Ki asked "How much for this?" and the old man smiled.

Then the old man said, "Nothing, you just have to use it then you can have it.", Hyun Ki was a bit surprised at that but he did it anyway and he absorbed the jade into his body along with the fish boss from before.

He received the legendary ability Water Flow that allows Hyun Ki to control water and the jade that he got from the antique store gave him a mythic ability called, "Search" which allowed Hyun Ki to look for anything in the game.

But it's cooldown was a month so he had to use it wisely and then the old man smiled and said, "Ah, it's true that absorbing method of the jade was beautiful and I'm so lucky that I was alive to see it.".

Then the old man stood up and said, "Thank you for showing me this, here is a little clue for you if you want to know more about the extraction ability you hold just search for the tomb of the extraction alchemist.".

After saying that the old man left to go at the back at the store and then Hyun Ki did as the old man said and searched for the tomb and when he did an orange arrow appeared and it started pointing somewhere.

Then Hyun Ki decided to follow it since he still wasn't fully sure of how the search ability works but he definitely thought following the arrow was the best plan since it definitely should be the way the search ability works.

So then Hyun Ki followed the arrow for a while until he stumbled upon a gate which confused him since when he checked in the forums there wasn't a recorded gate here so he was even more excited of what it could be.

Then so he went through the gate and the arrow kept pointing somewhere, there wasn't any monsters in the gate and rather it looked like it was a tomb actually and so Hyun Ki was excited to see what he could find.

After following the arrow Hyun Ki stumbled upon something that would be the boss room but rather it was made to be a resting place for someone so Hyun Ki immediately thought it was the extraction alchemist.

So he then opened the doors and then he saw that there was a dead body in the middle of the room and when he looked around in the room there was nothing but one jade on top of the place where the dead body was laying in.

Then Hyun Ki took it and then absorbed it and then he received the epic skill "Dead Language (growth)" then after getting the skill he saw a blue version of the dead body floating above it and then it moved.

It went up to Hyun Ki then asked, "Are you my descendant?." Hyun Ki then said, "No, I just received your ability by chance.", the man looked closely and then sighed and said, "Well, I am a bit sad that none of my descendants received the ability.".

But then he continued and said, "Still you received my ability so I think I oughta help ya, so break that wall over there and you will find a map that will lead you two the three big abilities that I got in my life, it will definitely help you.".

Hyun Ki then asked, "What about you?", the man then said, "Well, my time is already over and my ability has already been given to another so I think I will stop resisting and move on to the afterlife.".

Then Hyun Ki said "Good luck." and the man smiled and said "Your a good kid" and then he started dissipating and after that Hyun Ki went to the place the man pointed at and then broke it and found a piece of paper.

He put it in his inventory and then looked around to see if there was anything else that he could use and he actually found another jade that held a legendary ability called, "Map" which allowed Hyun Ki to absorb maps and use them in the system.

So then Hyun Ki took out the map again and then absorbed it into his new ability then he left the place and now he had his own little mini map and this got Hyun Ki the idea to buy more maps for him to absorb.

And so he went back to the hunter's store and then started looking for a place where they sell maps and after a while of looking he bought almost all the maps of South Korea's cities and also the map of the whole world.

Then Hyun Ki also decided he would look through the hunter's store to see if they had anything good that he could buy and after a while of wandering the store he found a place where they were selling artifacts.

Hyun Ki went inside the store checked to see if they had any useful artifacts that he could use and after a while of looking he bought two things in the store the first one was a bottle that had a bigger capacity on the inside.

Which Hyun Ki got the idea to use it as a container for his healing potions and so he wouldn't have to keep bringing out a new one and it would just be a good thing to help save space and time.

Then the other item he bought was some rings, they were accessories for summons and they could be called with them and they wouldn't just fall to the ground it would allow Hyun Ki to just store their armour and weapons inside.

So he didn't have to go to them and give it to them one by one and he bought a couple of extras just in case his ability gets an upgraded and he can summon more clones or if one of his clones loses their ring.

Then Hyun Ki left the hunter's store and when he checked the time it was already getting pretty late so he logged out and prepared everything he needed for school then after that he went to bed.
