Covering his head with the helm, Derek hopped on the bike and his gloved finger pressed a button. The moment his finger touched the screen, the bike came online and the white glow changed to a ghostly blue.

The mild hum of the bike rang in the large garage. "I'll be back," Derek muttered. His voice was low, but Gavin heard it and took a few steps "Come back alive, we haven't caught up yet."

Derek leaned forward and hit the accelerator pedal, causing the bike to zoom. The speed right from the start was already alarming. As he approached the door, it gradually lifted up.

And by the time Derek arrived, the door had gone up. Gavin watched Derek enter the streets and zoomed off, quickly disappearing under the cover of the gloomy, dark skies.
