War is coming

As they watched the taxi move away, Angel turned to Derek. "It's really quiet here." They stood so close that they could feel each other's warmth, and Angel's hand never left Derek's.

A desolate vibe enveloped the street. Even with the beauty of the buildings and the street poles, some individuals would be scared of moving alone.

"Let's go," he said and led her towards the structure that looked like a garage. Her bewildered expression made his lips curve, and he felt like pinching her cheeks.

But Angel seemed to know his next action and opened her mouth, revealing her white set of teeth, and chomped twice.

This was to tell Derek that she would bite off his fingers should it approach. His eyes flashed, and he bit his lower lip. 

From afar, they looked all lovey-dovey as their fingers were entwined and Derek held a part of her luggage whilst she had the other half.
