Derek quickly intercepts Li Mei before she might kill Nila out of anger and jealousy that a maid knew of his presence before her.

"Let me go!" Li Mei screamed, a golden light flashing on her body as she tried to teleport but was suppressed by Derek's soul energy.

"DEREK!" she screamed, her eyes gleaming with a bloodthirsty light while her nails extended and became claws!

"Go," Angel said to Nila and then took her out. It was obvious Li Mei was furious that Derek didn't even attempt to call her but her conflicting emotions made her turn to Nila.

Derek wrapped his arm around Li Mei's waist and she struggled to remove his arms. "I HATE YOU!"

"I know," Derek replied, pressing her against him. He brought his face to the side of her face and nudged her cheek with his.

"You look exceptionally gorgeous today." He muttered and pecked her cheek.
