After hours of battle, Derek sat on the ground, leaning against an armored vehicle. His face was covered in sweat and both arms limply lay beside him as he panted softly.

A golden beam flashed as Ariana crushed a regular's head with the bottom of her feet, then blasted a ray of golden beam that pulverized hundreds of regulars.

Staggering, she fell on one knee, her vision slightly dizzy as she had fought at her peak for over nine hours!

Looking back, she stared at the man who had fallen unconscious for about a while slowly regain himself. He pulled out the spike that made him fall unconscious in the first place and slowly got to her feet.

Explosions filled the horizon as mechas, countless aircraft, and soldiers still fought a massive battle, which they were slowly winning.
