Chapter 9 Like A Parasite?

Mrs. Jiang looked at her sister-in-law with a displeased face and got up. There was a deep chasm separating the two of them. Moreover, the woman has always been acting up since her younger brother's death.

"Meeting is over! Investigate the shop further!" Mrs. Jiang ordered everyone in the room.

The older woman walked out to meet Aaron Liu, who was still waiting outside the room. Mrs. Jiang couldn't bear to leave him for too long.

"Come with me, Aaron!" Mrs. Jiang invited a young man who looked quite and cool.

"Where are we going, Grandma?" Aaron Liu was very curious about where they were going.

"Eat! Aren't you hungry at all?" That was Mrs. Jiang's curt reply. It wasn't that she was annoyed at the man. She was still upset to meet her sister-in-law, who was always looking for profit for herself.

Not wanting to make the old lady angry, Aaron Liu could only follow where the owner of the several-story building was going. He could guess that Mrs. Jiang wasn't in a good mood. The woman's temperament had changed drastically since leaving the meeting room.

Mrs. Jiang said they went to the company cafeteria, which was more like a restaurant. Everything was designed to make them comfortable while working there.

In addition to the office building, there was a production site. It is located close to the main building. JL Fashion is the largest and most high-class company in the fashion world. The company had a sole owner, none other than Mrs. Jiang.

"Sit down first! I'll order some food for you." That was Mrs. Jiang's stern remark to Aaron Liu. No matter that she owned the company, the older woman tried her best to treat someone who kept getting hurt because of her.

Not long after, Mrs. Jiang returned to sit next to Aaron Liu. The woman seemed a little preoccupied with her cell phone. It was as if something was making her uneasy.

"Isn't the meeting not over yet, Grandma?" the young man asked curiously.

"For all of them, it's not over yet. But I have no business there. I still have a lot of work to do before my granddaugter returns," Mrs. Jiang explained anxiously.

"Will Grandma's granddaugter be back soon? I'll leave once Grandma's granddaugter is here." Aaron Liu thought there was nothing left to do after Mrs. Jiang's family returned from abroad.

He didn't want Mrs. Jiang's granddaugter to think he exploited the older woman. Many considerations made Aaron Liu not want to live near her.

He didn't want things to get complicated and bring new problems to the older woman beside him. Aaron Liu did not think of taking a chance in a tight spot.

"Who asked you to leave? You'll still be an assistant and a bodyguard. There's no need to worry about anything regarding my granddaugter. She will be very obedient to this grandmother." Mrs. Jiang explained Aaron Liu's thoughts on leaving after his granddaugter returned. That would only happen if the older woman were alive.

"But, Grandma... I really can't keep being a parasite to you." Aaron Liu tried to give a little understanding of the reason for his departure.

"You work for me, Aaron! Not being a parasite as you think. Hurry up and finish the food. After this, I'll take you somewhere," Mrs. Jiang said with a serious face.

Aaron Liu did not dare to resist or refuse Mrs. Jiang. He had to follow the wishes of the older woman who had become his guardian angel.

Moments later, the two of them had finished breakfast. Mrs. Jiang hurried away with the young man she now trusted so much. There was no one she trusted more than Aaron Liu himself.

On the way, there was no meaningful conversation between them. Long after, they stopped at a several-story building that happened to be used as the production site of JL Fashion. There, all the products were made according to the designs sent from some of the designers in the company.

"People call this a factory, but I say it's a production house. This is where everyone works hard to create the best clothes." Mrs. Jiang explained to the man beside her.

"But this building doesn't look like a garment factory at all. How can anyone tell it's a factory?" Aaron Liu still needs to understand authentic JL Fashion. He thought it was a commercial trademark of a specific brand.

"Every product we put out is always a minimal quantity. We never release as many products as the market demands." Mrs. Jiang said, which made things even more confusing for Aaron Liu.

The man was thinking about deciphering every word Mrs. Jiang said. All this time, Aaron Liu still needed to learn about business. He'd only made off with his family's fortune.

And now he regretted never learning business when his family still owned many companies.
