Chapter 29 Return Of The Disappeared Friend

"What are we going to this place for?" Aaron Liu looked panicked and agitated when Jiang Lily took him to the Grande Factory.

A men's clothing store known for its top quality and prices, it was undeniable that Grande Factory was Aaron Liu's favorite store.

There was anxiety in his heart. He didn't want Jiang Lily to know his family background. Aaron Liu much preferred to be the son of a small farmer on a remote island.

"Grandma asked me to bring you here. Aren't you going to accompany me to your ex-fiancé's wedding tomorrow? If you want to refuse, tell my grandmother directly." Jiang Lily knew very well that Aaron Liu didn't want to attend the wedding. However, she didn't want to make him further trample on her pride in front of a cheap woman like Miranda Choi.

"I'll explain to Grandma Jiang if I can't accompany you tomorrow morning," Aaron Liu said as he returned to the car. He didn't want to go inside an expensive clothing store he frequented.

Seeing Aaron Liu's over-the-top response, Jiang Lily had to think of a way to bring him in. No matter what, she had to get him into the store.

Jiang Lily opened the car door and pulled the man out of there. No matter what, she had to bring Aaron Liu into the store.

"You're my assistant! You're supposed to accompany me shopping. Why are you letting me in alone?" Jiang Lily deliberately showed an annoyed and slightly angry face. She had to force the man to accompany her inside.

"Alright! Alright!" Very reluctantly, Aaron Liu got out of the car. They entered a two-story men's clothing store in the city center.

A well-dressed young woman immediately came to greet them. Jiang Lily immediately gave her a business card that her grandmother had given her.

The woman, presumably the store manager, led them to the second floor of the Grande Factory. There, the store's designers' limited and special edition collections were displayed.

"Please, Miss. Mrs. Jiang called the store and said you would visit our store." The woman was amiable and also very polite. She led them to a room where the store's best collections were.

"Thank you." Jiang Lily walked after the woman to a corner of the room where there were many models in tuxedos and suits of various styles.

Aaron Liu didn't seem interested in the store's collection. He knew very well how expensive all the clothes displayed on the second floor of the Grande Factory were.

Only certain people can buy clothes there. Of course, only people who have excess money.

"Good evening, Miss. I'll be assisting you while you shop here," greeted a beautiful woman in the distinctive uniform of a well-known clothing store.

"Very well. I'll look at some of the latest clothing collections in this shop," Jiang Lily said with a faint smile. She approached some of the longest tuxedos there.

Meanwhile, the woman was looking at the man who came with her. She felt familiar with the man who had immediately sat on a chair prepared for the shop's customers.

Doubtfully, the woman approached Aaron Liu. She was increasingly convinced that he was someone she recognized.

"Mr. Aaron!" she exclaimed to a man who had become a regular at the shop. It just so happened that they had a good relationship over the years.

"You still work here?" Aaron Liu looked surprised to see the woman who always accompanied him shopping at Grande Factory. He didn't expect the two of them to meet again.

"Where else do you want to work? Is Miss Jiang your future wife?" The woman was interested in Aaron Liu's relationship and the beautiful woman who came with him.

Aaron Liu smiled slightly at the question. How could the shop assistant think that Jiang Lily was his future wife? Their relationship was only between a superior and a subordinate.

"Miss Jiang is my superior. Don't think anything of it!" explained Aaron Liu in a low voice. He didn't want to be overheard by Jiang Lily, who was still busy choosing clothes.

"Oh yeah, Sir. It just so happens that Mr. Su is also here. He came with some of his family," said a beautiful woman who worked at the shop.

"Su Minghao?" repeated Aaron Liu to confirm if the person in question was the same man.

The shop assistant just nodded. She couldn't possibly speak too loudly to be heard by other customers. The woman knew very well that Su Minghao was a close friend of Aaron Liu. The two of them had shopped at the store together several times.

"Take me to see him!" Aaron immediately got up from his seat. He was suddenly very excited to meet his close friend.

There were many things Aaron Liu wanted to ask his friend who had disappeared. He had to know why Su Minghao seemed to avoid him deliberately.
