The Verdict

King Titus and Queen Serina of the Kingdom of Blau held court that afternoon and the nobles of the court were all gathered to hear the verdict regarding Lady Clara and her family. The Blauvian Court was decorated in navy blue and white marble, and while there were nervous whispers of what could befall this noble family, no one dared to openly challenge the accusations that were set against Lady Clara and her family. King Titus had received the letter and the evidence had been read out, that had been gathered from Rubicund. He had discussed with his wife what measure of punishment would suit but could not bring himself to verbally voice out the edict. Queen Serina sensing her husband's distress, stood and spoke on his behalf.
