The Witch and the Fairy (Part 2)

"Where am I? Did Mommy make a new bride?" Windy's voice echoed in the room as the bright light began to fade.

I looked at May with admiration. "Our daughter has arrived, and she seems to already know what happened. She's quite smart, isn't she, Dear?" I remarked.

May smiled at me and replied, "Yes, she is." Windy rushed to me, giving me a big hug and exclaiming, "Mommy!"

I lifted Windy onto my lap and said, "You're at the academy where I go to study magic."

Sasha chimed in, "Our sweet daughter is finally home with us. Windy, how did you know that my Darling made a contract with someone again?"

Windy eagerly shared her experience, "I felt a sudden surge of mana and got stronger. Then a bright light shone down on me, and I was scared. But the God of Magic told me I was going to my Mommy, so I thought Mommy made a new bride."

Everyone was amazed by Windy's magical sensitivity and intelligence. "You're going to be a great witch someday, Windy," May said with pride.

"Heh-heh, thank you Mama May. I didn't know Fairy teacher would be my new Mama, though," Windy exclaimed.

Surprised, I asked Windy, "Oh, you already met Aria? Why do you call her teacher?"

Aria intervened, "I can answer that, my Darling Master. I helped teach Windy some basic spells in the guise of a light attribute fairy. I wanted to make sure this sweet girl wasn't feeling lonely. She started calling me teacher after."

"Thank you, Aria, for teaching our daughter how to manipulate mana and some basic spells," I expressed my gratitude to Aria.

"It was no problem at all. I feel a strong bond with this girl as well, and now that we have become contracted together, she has some of my mana as well, which makes her my daughter. So, it's only natural for a mother to teach her daughter new things. Though I do wish to apologize for keeping my name and my relation to your Mommy a secret. Can you forgive me, sweetheart?" Aria asked Windy, feeling regretful for lying to her daughter.

"It's okay, Mama Aria. I understand," Windy said before giving her a hug.

"What a good girl, thank you, sweetheart," Aria expressed her gratitude to Windy.

"I'm curious as to how my Darling and Aria met. Can you please tell me?" Sasha asked me and Aria.

"Thank you for going on a walking date in the woods with me, my Darling May. I know it's not the most romantic of places, but at least we can be alone and not be stared at," I stated happily with a slight hint of frustration.

"It was my pleasure, Dear. Please, don't worry about such things. Anywhere with you is romantic to me," May stated before grabbing my hand and leaning in for a kiss.

"...Help...someone...please..." a pained voice cried out in the woods.

"Dear, did you hear someone crying out for help?" May asked, looking around for where the voice came from.

"I did. I will use magic to find the voice's origin now. Search: Mana Signature! I found a strong mana signature, but it is fading fast. We need to hurry. They are this way," I stated with a hint of panic in my voice.

May and I began running towards the voice, and what surprised us both was finding a beautiful girl with long blonde hair and clear ocean blue eyes. She seemed as if she were a goddess, especially with the golden wings of a light fairy, the race that people say are the children of the gods.

"Oh my, are you okay? Who hurt you?" May asked the fairy, concerned.

The fairy tried to speak, but her voice was weak. I immediately took out a healing potion and gave it to her, which helped the fairy regain her strength.

"Thank you so much for saving me. I'm a light fairy. I was attacked by some dark wizards who were after my high mana," Aria introduced herself.

I was intrigued by the fairy's explanation, and I asked, "High mana? What do you mean by that?"

Aria explained, "As a light fairy, I have a large amount of mana. Dark wizards want to capture fairies like me and use our mana for their evil purposes. That's why they attacked me."

Anger surged within me as I heard that. May shared my feelings, "It's terrible how some people can be so cruel. We won't let them hurt you anymore."

"Thank you so much, you two. You're very kind," the fairy said with gratitude.

May and I carefully lifted the injured fairy and carried her back to our home. As we tended to her wounds, we began chatting with the fairy and learning more about her.

"What's your name?" I asked.

"I don't have a name. I'm just a light fairy," the fairy replied.

As the light fairy rested and recovered, she and I bonded over our shared love of magic.

"You have such amazing magical talent, Emily. I've never seen anything like it," the light fairy said.

"Oh, thank you. But your magical abilities are impressive too. I wish I could do some of the things you can," I replied.

As the weeks passed, our friendship grew stronger, and eventually, we decided to enter into a fairy master-servant contract.

"Light, would you allow me to be your master and give you a name?" I asked, filled with excitement and a sense of responsibility.

"Of course, I would be honored. How does the name Aria sound? I think it suits you based on your beautiful singing voice," I suggested.

"Aria... I like it. Thank you, Emily. From now on, I will be known as Aria, and I will call you my Darling Master," Aria declared, blushing.

However, our happiness was short-lived. One day, while May and I were away helping my mother, Aria was out shopping when she was taken by dark wizards once again.

"No! How could they do this? We must go after them. Search: Aria!" I found her, I exclaimed.

"Dear, I will stay here and inform Mother Klare when she gets back. I know you won't be able to wait that long, so please stay safe," May said.

"Thank you. They are in the forest close to where we found Aria the first time. I will head there now. I promise I will be safe, my Darling. Please head there with my mother as soon as possible," I stated to May.

"We will, I promise," May said.

"Aria, please be okay," I said to myself, with worry evident in my heart. I couldn't bear the thought of losing her.
