Chapter 77) Food for Thoughts.

The next morning, Xavier had to swallow a laugh when he caught sight of the black eye Richard Avery was trying to hide behind locks of hair.

"He looks like a stranded koala." Min Ho said, as they walked down the aisle, arms holding trays laddened with food, to an empty table.

Chad and Kazarian had wary looks about them, as if they were expecting boulders of ice to bludgeon them into oblivion any second now. They were scared and uncomfortable even as they shovelled food into their mouths.

Just before sitting down, Xavier, after getting that tingling sensation of being watched, looked up to find Richard glaring at him from all the way across the cafeteria. Feeling cheeky for some reason, Xavier offered the boy a bright smile that turned said glare into a full teeth-grinding glower of rage.
