Condemned Hymn: Avatar of Sin
In the small city of Haverfall, lived Caspian, a renowned detective. He was just an ordinary person until one day, a mysterious incident happened.
"Can you please move out of the way?" said Caspian as the crowd moved to let him pass through.
He parked his car and entered the house of the incident. As he entered the room of the crime scene, he could only gasp at the sight, "What the f—"
It was a bloody mess. Guts were all over the place, even the ceiling. As he looked at the body, he saw that the torso of the victim was utterly obliterated.
There were no clues... not a single one. But Caspian is a stubborn man, so he tries to find everything and comes across a mysterious group. He warned them not to move, or he'll shoot, but without a care, they didn't listen. Caspian shot, but to his surprise, one of them even laughed. He didn't know what had happened, but he was knocked out.
Just after that day, his mother, an agent from an unknown organization, told him to stop investigating and that they'll handle it. He was angry, but he knew he couldn't do anything about it, but he planned on investigating regardless of the consequences.
A few more murders happened, and Caspian eventually got caught investigating something without proper permission and was suspended. That's where it all happened, an encounter with the unknown, something that didn't die no matter how much he tried to kill it—the encounter with the supernatural.
Mysteries begin to unsolve as the dark secrets of the world hold true. The fate of the world bides within him... the oath sworn by the apocalypse. This is the path of the Condemned.
(It's pretty light-hearted, so you don't have to worry. No NTR, No cuckoldry, No UB, No bad tags. Just good old harem with a plot instead of pure harem. Small warning though, the MC won't be immediately strong since that would make no sense storywise. He will still need to train to be able to reach the strength everyone else has. [I could just make him gain a power-up but that would be too easy, LMAO]. Also, English is my third language, so I'm sorry if I have a lot of typos/grammatical errors.)

A shameless review from the author here. I hope you enjoy the story that I made seriously, I had to reupload it for WSA since I want to increase the traction of my novel. The title is a bit confusing, but it's related to the story. Should I change into something more straightforward? xD. It's pretty light-hearted especially for the topic and I hope you'll enjoy it!
From the chapters released so far, I find the main character to be too contradictory. Someone who is very stubborn and inquisitive would not be so submissive and accommodating just because someone says so. As a detective, you would think he would have a problem with all the lying his family/close ones have done his entire life. But he just accepts it in a few sentences? This ruined my enjoyment of the novel. It makes no sense, and in turn, makes this work hard to continue with. Cheers for putting your work out there though!
Very cool story with a very nice aesthetic. I really love MC's relationship with the FL. so might I ask, how many girls do you think MC will end up with?
This is my first review in webnovel since I really like the work. It's by far the most unique thing I've seen and I appreciate it very much. MC is a bit confusing though lol but I like it, no biggie. Nice job on the naming haha keep up the good work author
Current chapter: 24 Thoughts: chapter 23 and 24 are the best sec scenes ive seen on novels. So far, the story is very interesting s, but it feels a bit dragged out, but it's pretty good imo though I might change the rating if it keeps getting longer. Keep up the good work

After reading this consistently for the past few months, I can confidently say this is an amazing work. I absolutely love the dynamic between the characters and how you didn't rush the relationships between them for the sake of getting more popular. The events had also started getting exciting too. Can't wait for more chapters to come out.
Im at chapter 100 and its going pretty good. Some minor spelling errors here and there and maybe botched phrases but the writer fixed some of it. He doesn't reply 😂 but its fine. Story is ok, but is going pretty slow but I'll still keep reading since I like it.
