Need to be ruthless when necessary(1)

John was originally drinking, but upon hearing these words, the glass in his hand shattered, and glass shards embedded in his flesh, causing fresh blood to flow.

Mark was startled and quickly grabbed some tissues to clean him up.

However, John pushed him away and said, "Pour me some more alcohol."

Kevin walked over and glanced at him, adding fuel to the fire. "Wow, that was quite intense. She really enjoyed herself," he paused, then leaned in closer to John and whispered, "You're not really that bad, are you?"

John raised his eyes and shot him a cold look.

Kevin shrunk back, "I know, she's just trying to find an excuse for her own affair. She's so vicious, not only does she act like a slut, but she also blames you for it. A woman like her deserves to be mistreated by Gabriel Stone."

John's eyebrows furrowed slightly, and blood dripped from his hand, but he didn't seem to feel any pain.

His legs reacted before his brain, and by the time he realized what was happening, he was already standing at the bathroom door where he heard moaning.

Her voice had always been pleasant to listen to, pure and cleansing, but now it sounded like a seductive melody that could make one lose their mind, like the mythical mermaid's song.

He hesitated for a moment before kicking the door open with his foot.

With just two kicks, the door swung open with a bang.

He looked inside and saw Jane sitting on the toilet with her clothes neat and tidy, her head bowed, her face pale, and her eyes weary and tired. Half of her face was swollen, and there was a small cut at the corner of her mouth.

Gabriel Stone was lying motionless on the ground, with blood trickling from the back of his head.

This scene was completely different from what Kevin had described.

Standing at the doorway, he stared at her with a heavy gaze.

This woman could be ruthless when necessary.

She slowly raised her head and looked at him with a hesitant gaze.

She pointed to her chest and smiled foolishly at him, "I pulled you out of my heart, one by one. Soon, I'll be healed, and you won't be able to hurt me again."

She spoke each word seriously.

His heart tightened inexplicably, and the fingers that had been pounding at his side trembled slightly. Then he calmly walked over to her and said, "Let's go back."

She nodded and stood up unsteadily, following him out.

Kevin and Mark stood on the side, watching them. They peeked curiously into the bathroom and realized why everything seemed so calm – Gabriel Stone had been knocked out.

Alice Garcia saw John bringing Jane out, with her clothes and hair still perfectly in place. Her eyes blazed with anger.

"Jane, are you okay?" She approached with concern, her face filled with genuine care.

Jane lazily glanced at her, and tonight, Alice Garcia was the gun in John's hand, and she was the target.

Both of them didn't want to make it easy for her, so they were truly two peas in a pod.

"Well, I'm fine," she paused and smiled slightly at Alice Garcia, "I'll go to work at Starlight tomorrow."

Alice Garcia's expression changed slightly, "Jane, you don't look well. It's better to rest at home if you're sick."

Ignoring her false concern, Jane followed John out to the parking lot. The designated driver Kevin had already been waiting by the car, and John gestured for Jane to get in first. She sat in the back seat, and John followed closely behind.

Mark rushed over before the car door closed, "John, your hand is seriously injured. It's best to go to the hospital to get it treated."
