Unmarried pregnancy(2)

She rested her arms on the edge of the table for a while before leaving the consultation room.

Natalie Mitchell was nowhere to be seen outside, so she walked out while calling George Hayes. The call went unanswered, and a slender figure approached her hesitantly, "Jane, is that you?"

It was Vivian West, her voice as soft and feather-like as ever.

Jane cursed under her breath, hung up the phone, and turned to face Vivian. She looked pure and lovely without makeup, but her complexion was a bit pale.

She smiled awkwardly, "John took me on a trip, but I got sick. He was worried, so he insisted on coming to the hospital to check on me."

She looked in a certain direction, and Jane followed her gaze to see John, a tall and proud man in a well-tailored suit, holding a bill and waiting in line with Vivian.

"I heard from Auntie Land that you and John have divorced, and Jill is with him now," Vivian's gaze was shallow as she stared at Jane.

Auntie Land was Mrs. Land, and given her fondness for Vivian, she would have been the first to inform her of the divorce.

It had been over four months since she had last appeared. Jane couldn't tell if Vivian was genuinely uninterested in John or just trying to show off her worth.

Not wanting Vivian to hear her hoarse, masculine voice, Jane nodded lightly.

She was about to leave, but John walked over and fixed his gaze on her. To maintain her image, she held back a cough, but it was getting harder to suppress. She pulled Vivian towards John and deliberately put on a smile before waving and leaving.

She left without a trace of sentiment or reluctance, with a swift and decisive step, as if she didn't care at all.

John stared at Jane's back, wishing he could bore two holes through it.

Originally, their contract was still in effect, but when they promised to Mark Cooper's 20-day request, the contract was considered void. After 20 days, the three-month deadline had passed, and he could no longer order her or demand anything from her.

"Hello, John, hello, Jane," Vivian West withdrew her gaze from Jane. Jane had deliberately pushed her into John's arms just now, and it seemed like she had really let go.

John shrugged his lips indifferently. "She's best at being hypocritical. Don't be fooled by her appearance."

Vivian West frowned slightly, muttering dissatisfiedly, "John, you can't speak ill of Jane just because she divorced you. She's beautiful and talented, and she's my idol."

She acted cute like a young girl, and John helplessly said, "It's your turn, let's go."

As soon as they entered the elevator, Jane leaned against the side and coughed violently, tears streaming down her face. Just then, her phone in her pocket rang, and she immediately answered it. George Hayes said, "I've taken care of it on my end. Hurry back to the hotel, Awu will meet you at the door."

When she returned to the hotel, George Hayes waved them over to sit down. Natalie Mitchel had also returned home, and Nicholas Turner had come to her door.

Nicholas Turner used the key he had stolen to open the door and immediately started cursing, "You damned woman, you sold a rich family's child and took tens of millions of dollars, but you didn't give me a single penny. If you don't give me money today, I won't leave."

Natalie Mitchel was at a loss, and when she heard Nicholas Turner's words, she became angry and flustered. "How did you find out?"
