New Era(IV): Dragon God

Long Aotian emerged from the Golden clouds of Draconic energy as a totally new being.

His once short rough blonde hair had turned into long exquisite dark purple hair.

His emerald green eyes turned to abyssal black containing an imposing draconic slit in the middle of his pupil.

From his head protruded 2 long curved obsidian horns covered in purple runes.

His aura had completely changed as his gaze held a wisdom and vicissitude no mortal could ever hope to achieve.

"Use that pathetic technique of yours."

Long Aotian's voice seemed to be laced with the ancientness and power of an elder Dragon King as his words were akin to Heavenly Law.

Liara, whose state was still pitiable, woke up from her daze and decided to activate her last trump card in her last effort to maybe survive this event.

She had already tried multiple times to activate her regression ability but somehow Long Aotian had blocked it.

[Arts of Chronos: Remembrance of the Past.]

Without hesitation, she pierced her rapier through her heart causing the green runes on it to explode in power creating an explosion that almost matched Long Aotian's.

From the explosion of green runes, Liara's body was completely atomized but a few seconds later the green gas that came from the explosion started gathering into a single place forming an illusory green silhouette covered is red runes that emitted the same destructive aura that Liara had been carrying but this time they felt completely different.

She opened her eyes and two waves of energy, one crimson and the other green, spread through the void, destroying what was left of life within their galactic fields.

The spell she had just activated was the result of countless years of research. Using the legacy of a researcher obsessed with time and existence across timelines she found a way to gather the power she had gained in her previous regressions and it was stackable.

She had originally planned to use this spell to create her supreme foundation but now she had no choice.

Long Aotian's aura exploded as he didn't give her any more time and directly summoned millions of red blazing dragons, aiming for her life while simultaneously firing a punch filled with pure Draconic energy.

This time Liara's reaction time matched Aotian's and she summoned an equal amount of shields to protect herself from the dragons as she evaded Long Aotian's blow, retaliating with a palm strike containing an extremely high amount of destructive energy that was emitted from the runes of her body.

For a moment Liara's speed surpassed his and she landed her hit.

Long Aotian's figure shot through the void but not even a second later he teleported back.

Within his hand were multiple golden orbs of energy that emitted an energy filled with the rage and majesty that the dragons represented.

Without wasting a single second he fired them at Liara.

Right as the Orbs were about to come into contact with Liara, they exploded into millions of runes and formed a complex 4-dimensional array around her. The array completely immobilized her and her abilities.

[Cry of the Fallen Sage.]

The formation shifted and the runes that made it up expanded as they gained a crimson glow.

The formation now enhanced Liara's physical and spiritual receptors by the trillions. Just the ambient energy within the void was causing her to be in miserable agony.

Long Aotian slowly approached her and stopped a few meters from her immobilized figure.

"I'm gonna enjoy this…" said Long Aotian as he gathered all the energy he could muster in the surroundings into his fists.

BANG!

CRACK!

Without any mercy or pause, he used his energy-charged fists to mercilessly punch and break Liara's face and body.

BOOM!

BANG!

There was no hesitation or guilt within his hits, only the anger, and frustration that had resurfaced from his previous selves.

BOOM!

"For Sally…"

Every hit contained the endless flow of sadness and rage that she had caused him, flashes of memories of a distant past where he played around in a beautiful forest with his two angels passed through his mind.

"For Mo Xi…"

Every one of his hits became more and more violent than the other till Liara's body had been completely turned to mush and her soul was on the verge of collapse.

"For mom…"

Long Aotian's blows were so powerful that they transcended the mortal limit of the physical and directly touched her soul and ego.

"For d-dad…"

Long Aotian looked down at what was left of Liara, his body covered in her blood. Even though he had finally done it, the rage and frustration within his eyes didn't seem to decrease as it only kept shooting up.

He wanted more, he wanted to see her suffer the same way she had made him suffer and for him, this wasn't enough.

Just as he was about to heal her and begin this brutal process all over again, a gentle fairylike hand reached his shoulder.

Long Aotian turned around and his enraged eyes met with his wife's worried eyes.

"Da Zia… I-"

Without letting him finish his words Da Zia took Long Aotian into her embrace, not caring about his bloodied figure.

As he felt the warmth of his wife's hands Long Aotian finally let go and tears of pent-up frustration streamed down his face.

"I miss them so…much…"

"It's okay now…the nightmare is finally over. You can rest now…"

As if hypnotized by her voice Long Aotian returned to his previous appearance and completely fell unconscious.

As Da Zia looked at Long Aotian's peaceful expression a smile full of love appeared on her face.

Her hands coursed through Long Aotian's rough blonde hair and she caressed his sleeping face with love and affection.

"Now what do I do with you…"

Said Da Zia as she looked at Liara's remains, still holding onto life by some sort of miracle.

Her gaze narrowed and a cold devil-like smile sprouted on her face.
