New Era(III)

'I made sure to leave no clues and cleaned up after every move I made… how does he keep doing this?' Nervously thought the Crimson-haired woman.

On the other hand, the young man's aura kept rising as the Golden dragon's speed only kept increasing.

Strange circular runes accompanied by powerful multicolored energy spread all over his body as the aura he emitted reached an entirely new realm.

"Liara Oltrop. Daughter of a Galactic sovereign and Heiress of the Sanguine Heaven clan."

"It's pretty disappointing to see that in all those temporal regressions this is the closest you've ever been to killing me."

"Truly mediocre"

As he said these words, his companion teleported out of the cocoon of white threads and appeared next to him.

"Why are you stalling so much? Just kill her already, she isn't worth a single second of our time." Said the woman as her piercing green eyes emitted a ruthless glow.

"She has to pay. For everything." Concisely answered the young man, leaving no room for discussion.

Liara, the crimson-haired woman, looked at this scene with disbelief as the couple had casually dropped her life's biggest secret.

She was a time regressor that could go back in time however much she liked, as far as she knew, her ability had no limit.

After spending lifetimes upon lifetimes within these mortal galaxies she decided she wanted more.

Her father had told her on multiple occasions that these galaxies were nothing compared to the real world that lay beyond and this is what had motivated her.

She decided to cultivate like a madman and polish her knowledge through numerous regressions so that when the time came she would be ready to face anything out there. But something went wrong.

After spending countless regressions preparing to break out of the galactic fields she had decided that conquering all the Galaxies within her reach would benefit her since her cultivation techniques required a monstrous amount of resources, so she went on to lead a glorious campaign across the galaxies.

With the help of her father and her clan she easily took over the galactic fields and their resources but two individuals stood up against her and her reign.

Long Aotian and a mysterious woman that seemed to be his companion. In just a few decades they had accomplished what took her millions of regressions, they had such a rapid rise in strength that for a moment she wondered whether they too had time regression abilities.

Unwilling to let go of her ambitions Liara regressed again but this time she decided to target them but the results were the same, every time no matter what she did they would come out of the danger stronger than before.

Even when she tried to kill Long Aotian at birth he would miraculously survive. After countless regressions spent looking for the cause of Long Aotian's luck she finally found it.

He was a son of heaven.

Sons or Daughters of Heaven were beings whose destines and fates were dictated and influenced by the Will of the very heavens.

No matter what, they were destined to be Peerless legends of their generation. Usually, a son or daughter of heaven was born when a huge calamity was threatening the peace and balance of the galaxies.

Liara theorized that the heavens saw her as a threat and created long Aotian as the answer.

With a loud sigh Liara's mind calmed down and her aura completely changed. Without wasting time she summoned a beautiful black Rapier covered in green runes.

With a slash, she condensed a huge wave of energy that directly rushed towards the couple.

Long Aotian looked at the coming attack with disappointment.

"I was expecting so much more from you."

He waved his hand and a gigantic blue Dragon appeared in front of him, devouring the attack with absolute ease.

Liara followed by teleporting right in front of him and pierced her rapier forward aiming at his sternum with all of her available energy condensed on its tip.

Her body moved at such high speeds that the void they were in started cracking.

Long Aotian dodged with just as much speed and followed with an uppercut filled with some sort of draconic energy.

When his fist connected, Liara's mind blanked for a moment as his punch carried so much power and momentum that the space around them completely cracked creating multiple void storms.

Long aotian was relentless in his attack as he followed with a ruthless kick to her head, completely breaking her neck.

Liara's figure shot through the void storms around her as she seemed helpless against Long Aotian's attacks.

Despite the spatial turbulence around them, Long Aotian had no trouble teleporting to where Liara's body had stopped.

As he looked down he saw her bleeding figure ravaged by the void storms.

The damage the void storms had done to Liara was significant but Long Aotian's punch had almost destroyed her brain and the connection it had to her soul. Even though she had the fighting prowess of an immortal, she was still a mortal, this casual hit from Long Aotian could've ended her life.

Despite her pitiable state, Long Aotian didn't stop. He executed multiple hand signs and then cast a spell.

[Dragon Tongue: Wrath of the Ancients.]

Countless Terrifying Dragons appeared within the chaotic void they were in.

All these mighty dragons had powerful auras that far surpassed the mortal or immortal limits.

Long Aotian brought his hands together and all these dragons rushed toward his body, fusing with him.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!

An explosion of wild Golden energy enveloped all the galactic regions.

This explosion was so loud and powerful that most life forms within the surrounding galaxies instantly died. Their bodies and souls were completely razed from existence by the wave the explosion created.

What was once a chaotic space filled with void storms became filled with golden draconic energy.

Liara who had been even more injured by the explosion looked up as she saw a figure emerge from the Golden clouds of energy.

An imposing Aura full of Majesty and pride descended.
