Questions And A Hopeful Answer

There was a few seconds of silence from William, at least enough to read it, but I was anxious, uneasy if he would actually provide me the answers I needed, I was skeptical too because I knew he might not tell me anything at all and just keep me here, that was yet another thing I was terrified of.

My hands resting on my lap tightened into fists, will I forever stay here and not be given answers for the rest of my life? Will I just live on until I die without finding out what or who I am?

"What is a fairy?" he read what I wrote out loud and I shot my head up to look at him.

"Your handwriting is messy, you need to work on that"

My cheeks heated from his comment and I quickly dug my head in embarrassment. That was not what I expected at all and it hurts to get such a comment, I figured I need to work on my writing but that isn't the case right now is it?

"Fairies are magical beings born part Fae and part mortal, a mixed bloodline"

My eyes slowly went wide and my heart bashed a loud beat. It caused me to raise my head and kept my eyes on his mask and I believed he was staring at me now.

Fae?

"I have answered your question"

Wait, that was it? He won't say more? He only confused me more, and I frowned.

"Tomorrow I shall give you permission to read the book about magical things"

That means I will get the chance to find out what Fae's are and any other things that leave me confused. I would finally find out what makes me different.

I was hopeful now… hopeful for tomorrow to come.

Severus came right after and I was dismissed and brought back to my chambers where Elvenia was waiting for me, we did our route again, I was bathed and I ate dinner, this was the first time I ate just two times a day but I wasn't complaining, at least I ate something and I was more than grateful. William didn't join in as he usually does, I sat alone eating in the silence, as if it was any different, even though William was here it was still the same dead silence.

I was getting eager by the very second, eager for tomorrow to come, I just couldn't wait to get reading that book and find out what I needed.

I was back in my room now and sleep became the last thing on my mind as I kept waiting for tomorrow to come forth as if I would magically will the sun to come in any second.

But I became dizzy and I took my usual position on the floor and curled up into a ball, I got cold frequently so I pulled the sheets with me to the ground and I was halfway asleep when I recalled the comfortable feeling I felt when I awoke on Williams bed, Determined to feel that again and telling myself my body craves the bed, I used the last strength of mine to climb on it and allowed the realms of sleep to take me.

The next day came forth and I awoke feeling like it was any other day, it was just an ordinary bed and to me, it wasn't so far from sleeping on the floor... so I was fully convinced now, that cozy feeling came from William's bed or maybe it was just him.

I blushed at the thought, why am I thinking about it now? I slapped my cheeks and faced the book I was hoping to get to read today, here it was before me but I was busy thinking about William's bed. I shook my head again and quickly dived to open the book.

I just hope I can read most of the words here. Thanks to Williams' teachings I think I might be able to.

I went directly to the context and searched 'Fae' . Because that was my main focus, my heart skipped several rounds of heartbeat when I opened the page.
