"I was happy to do something first with you, but it kills me that the first would also be the last."
Kendra's POV
My heart beat like a drum, it was uncontrollable yet in a wonderful rhythm.
Being so close to my husband, I never thought he would still have this kind of effect on me.
He was waiting for my instruction, so I avoided his eyes and softly spoke sweetly, "C-could you stand straight?"
"Are you sure?" Johann asked.
"Uh-huh," even my nod had a trace of shyness all over my body. He did as I told him, and now I have a bigger problem.
His chin was good enough to rest on the top of my head, to be honest, I could tie it like this much easier, but I couldn't get to see his face and I hated it.
But I felt so embarrassed especially after I asked him to stand straight. In the end, I shove him the tie and said, "Y-you do it, sorry."
But instead of getting mad, he stopped me from leaving and uttered, "Wait!"
