CHAPTER 60 Helping Hand

"My kindness to others was innate, but my concern towards her was something I couldn't explain."

  Kendra's POV

I found myself falling off the bus after a man who was in a hurry getting out of the bus pushed me aside.

Everything flashed before me in slow motion. I didn't know if it was the adrenaline rush, but I landed on the ground sideways, lessening the impact it might cause on my belly.

My luggage fell with me and was damaged.

Then I clearly saw the handsome man chasing a small dark-skinned guy in his jeans. He was the one who pushed me mercilessly. But before the handsome man fully charged at the escapee, he gave me a worried look and asked me to stay put.

At first, I couldn't understand what I said but soon realized that he was asking me to just keep my position. But even if I wanted to stand, my legs and feet had been through a lot of things today.
