CHAPTER 61A Stranger's Duty

"Someone you met could make you feel more valuable than a person you were spending your daily life with."

Kendra's POV

I woke up staring at the twilight of the hospital lights placed on the ceiling. It sparkled and it was bright.

I sighed, "How I wish my life also sparkled like this," I regretted taking a bus that day. If I hadn't been so proud and stubborn, I wouldn't have had to experience this tragic incident.

Now, I am lying in this hospital bed wearing a hospital gown in a hospital room I am not familiar with.

It was too late to realize that someone had been sitting on the couch in the corner of the room.

I just massaged my head thinking about the trouble I gave this gentleman.

I cleared my throat to let him know I am awake. I am too embarrassed to even say hi to him, so this was the strategy I came up with. And hell yeah, it was effective.
