"Someone's feelings burst out in desperate times."
Kendra's POV
The word ‘dying' repeatedly echoed in my head. Dying? Who's dying? Grandpa? Says who?
I couldn't accept the bitter truth and neither did Johann.
To him, it was only a part of their little circus, "Are you hearing yourself? Stop this madness, now!" he scoffed at them.
But nothing changed, their faces said it all.
"We couldn't tell you, I'm sorry," Mom looked down as she said these words.
"Then you tell me now! You better give me a damn good explanation or I swear to God–"
"Father was diagnosed with liver cancer three months ago, and–" Dad was explaining the situation when Johann acted indifferent to him.
He even grabbed Dad's collar, and both I and Mom tried to stop their clash.
"Johann!"
"Son, stop it!"
But my husband became even more aggressive.
